Tim & Em

Summer 2021: Emily had just gotten out of a relationship and Tim was starting his dating journey. They matched on Hinge, a dating app, and talked for a day. Emily decided she wasn't ready to date just yet, then deleted the app. She never got Tim's number, but wished she had. November 2022: After Tim got out of a relationship, Tim's sister-in-law Kayla encouraged Tim to get back out there, and try a dating app again. Emily was getting tired of going on disappointing dates, and was about to delete her dating app, then she saw Tim! She remembered him and how he boldly proclaimed to love Jesus on his profile. She liked his profile and in response, Tim sent over a cheesy pick-up line (which Emily loves.) They FaceTimed after a day of texting one another, and their first call lasted 1 hour and 25 minutes. December 3rd, 2022: Tim & Emily go on their first date in downtown Rome, GA. They had dinner, good conversation, grabbed ice cream after and really hit it off. Emily usually waited for the guy to ask for another date, but she quickly said "I had a great time and like to see you again." The rest of December they spent dating another another. January 13th 2023: Tim asked Emily if she wanted to meet his family. She met Tim's mom, dad, two brothers and their wives all at the same time! She was so nervous beforehand that her stomach was in knots. After a sweet dinner and game night, Tim dropped Emily at her car and asked her to officially be his girlfriend. She replied "Heck yeah!" February 2023: Tim met Emily's parents and little sister. They all liked him (who wouldn't?) and approved. They celebrated their first Valentine's together, and got to hang out with the Knoedler siblings as a first official triple date all together, playing TopGolf! March 2023: They celebrated Emily's birthday and went on many fun dates. April 2023: Tim & Emily went on their first day trip together to Chattanooga, where she met Tim's good friend and explored the city together. They watched many sunsets and spent quality time together. They officially said, "I love you" this month. May 2023: They celebrated Emily's MBA Graduation and went on their first family vacation together to Myrtle Beach with Tim's family! June 2023: Tim met Emily's entire family at her MBA graduation party in her hometown in NC. The whole family approved. July 2023: Tim & Emily went on their second family vacation together to the coast of NC with Emily's family! On July 4th they confessed they could see a future together. August 2023: Emily attended the premiere of a short film Tim was able to video! Tim let Emily tag along for one of his weddings and she was his second shooter for the day, learning the video side of things. They explored Savannah and wore matching Buccee's swimsuits with the Knoedler sibs. September 2023: They celebrated Tim's birthday by letting him drive his dream car. October 2023: Tim & Emily went to Daytona to see Tim's brother John and wife Kayla tie the knot! They saw their first concert together and also started a spiritual pre-engagement workbook together. November 2023: They celebrated Thanksgiving with both their families, Friendsgiving with Emily's college friends, and finished up their pre-engagement workbook. December 2023: Tim & Emily toured a wedding venue (on the down low), visited Emily's aunt and uncle in San Diego, celebrated Christmas with both their families, and spent New Year's together. January 13th 2024: They celebrated 1 year of dating and went on a ski trip with the Knoedler siblings! February 3rd 2024. Tim proposed to Emily in Cartersville, GA where they would often meet halfway for dates. At the bench where they had the first conversation about becoming official, Tim asked Emily one last question about their future together. Emily said "Heck yeah" and agreed to a life together. God is the reason for it all. Tim & Emily cannot wait to marry each other and owe all the glory to Him.
