Sheika is Saadia's first cousin, more like her sister. They were always together from the time they learned how to walk. They went to school together (from head start all the way through highschool), played games together, made dancing videos together, danced at parties together, laughed together, cried together, experienced their first heartbreak together and the list goes on. Anytime you saw one, you saw the other! They were inseparable! Sheika is definitely a jokester. She is the biggest supporter you could ask for and always knows how to make you smile. The vibration of her soul is immaculate! Keep a look out for her speech, and expect to smile, laugh and maybe shed a few tears.

In fact, she is always the first one to volunteer, on the wildest occasions! Although he was always busy being in the Navy, he always made sure his presence was felt whenever Devin called on him and used the little time he was given to hang out with him and have a good time. He is loyal, caring, funny and brings good vibes anytime he is around. His friendship is definitely one to cherish.

He is always ready to debate with any and everyone about the Dallas Cowboys! He can be shy at times but don't be surprised when he shows you a few moves.

Over the past year, he has shown so much strength after such a tragic change in his life. He still walks around with a smile on his face and his head held high. He is the definition of resilience. She was tough, silly, and straightforward, yet, loving, caring, and supportive. She was never too far away whenever you needed a good laugh or a listening ear. The bond they shared is like no other! Unfortunately, Saadia lost her sister last year so suddenly. It has been an uneasy, emotional road ever since her passing. Saadia will always be thankful for the 2 nephews her sister left behind. Even though she will not be here physically, she will always be here in spirit.

Shaniqua is Saadia's babysister! Man...she was one of a kind! She had the heart of a giant. Always giving more than she received and ready to stand beside you for any and everything. She was all her siblings' second mother lol, even the older ones. She was always there to help take care of her nephews. She was one of the main reasons Saadia was able to get through her undergraduate program, which is why Saadia dedicated her graduation to her. Anytime Saadia was not able to have RJ with her, Shaniqua was always one call away, driving 3 hours with their mother just to get her nephew and help her sister. She was the sweetest, kindest, intelligent, and strongest soul! Unfortunately, Shaniqua passed away so suddenly and missed out on so much! It hurts Saadia to know she will not be here physically but brings peace to know she has her big sister and cousin as well as other family members with her as they cheer Saadia and Devin on in spirit.

Sabrina is Saadia's cousin, more like her sister! She was a fun, outgoing, loving, smart, charming and caring soul. She was the life of the party, always ready for drinks and being around family. Saadia and her cousin share a special bond. They were both pregnant with their first child, along with Saadia's sister Sarah and Cousin Nas at the same time. Their children all share close birthdays. Unfortunately, Sabrina passed so suddenly. Saadia was so hurt but blessed to still have a piece of her by her side (her daughter Kimberly). Saadia knows she will be here in spirit!

Lisa is Devin's big sister! She was sweet, supportive, caring, and loving. In their younger years, their bond was tight! She was very protective of Devin. Although distance grew between them over the years as they got older, she still found ways to let him know how much she loved him. Unfortunately, Lisa passed away and it's been hard at times because Devin never got the chance to say goodbye. Although she is no longer here with us, Devin knows she will always be here in spirit.

Between her, Crystal and Saadia they could take on anything at work. They were their best together! She is always there to give advice and make your day better. Joe is Devin's uncle from his father's side. Even with much distance between us throughout the years, he always manages to show up for the most important things in life. He always checks on Devin, no matter what he has going on. For as long as I can remember, Devin has always said, He wanted his Uncle to be the one to marry him and Saadia. He was so happy when Uncle Joe offered to be his officiant.
