Brian and Leanne met through mutual friends in 2010. Life got in the way, and it wasn't until the beginning of October 2014 that they reconnected by fate (and Instagram). That same October, Brian and Leanne had their first date at Eastern State Penitentiary's "Terror Behind the Walls." Halloween became a major theme in their relationship when Brian officially asked Leanne to be his girlfriend on October 31, 2014. When the couple decided to take one of their first trips together, they mutually agreed on the Poconos. Having frequented Jim Thorpe in her childhood, Leanne thought it would be a place Brian would enjoy. After staying there for the first time, they quickly agreed that Jim Thorpe would be a place they would revisit each year. Over the past decade, a friendship transformed into love as Brian and Leanne bonded over a shared love of video games, cartoons, Pokémon, and cats. Their connection is a hauntingly beautiful reminder that true soulmates are not just found—they are destined. The bride and groom are beyond grateful to have the opportunity to celebrate this magical evening at one of their most cherished (and spooky) places in the world.
