Jhané and Christian met at SUNY Broome Community College in 2017. Their interactions were few to none, but they followed each other on all platforms of social media. In the summer of 2020, Christian began working at Matthews Auto and Jhané followed suit shortly after at a different location. These series of events caused Jhané to be put back on Christian’s radar, but it wasn’t until a serious breakup in the fall of 2021 that created the path for their story to begin. After reaching out to Jhané, things between the two began to progress rapidly. They hit it off immediately and a beautiful friendship was born. But after a short while, Christian realized that he felt more. He prayed constantly asking God for guidance and signs to show him that Jhané was the one. After getting the confirmation he prayed so hard for, he came to Jhané about it. She turned him down due to the fact that she had just recently gotten out of a long term relationship and wasn’t sure if she was ready to ruin such an amazing friendship for something more. After a little bit of time though, she realized she was actually feeling something more for him and was finally ready to see where it could go. On December 25th, 2021, Christian asked Jhané to be his. Almost a year later on December 9th, 2022, he popped the question. The rest, as you could say, is history. As Christian would always say, “Our love super-cedes time and space itself.” We can’t wait to celebrate that love with all of you!
