Delta Day At The Races - Churchill Downs
Get ready for an unforgettable experience at the 49th Annual Delta Day at the Races! This is your chance to join us for a fabulous day of fun, fellowship, and support for our LAC Scholarship fund, which empowers local youth to reach their educational dreams! Mark your calendars for May 10, 2025, and make your way to the iconic Churchill Downs! The gates swing open at 11:30 am, and the excitement kicks off with the first race at 12:45 pm. We’re thrilled to return to the First Turn Club, where you’ll be treated to breathtaking views and a vibrant 360° bar! Our trackside derby party promises a lively atmosphere, complete with a cigar lounge and a DJ spinning the perfect tunes to ensure every moment is filled with joy and celebration! Led by Historian Larry Johnson, hear the legendary stories of the people that have visited the property over the last century and explore the spaces that make the Seelbach one of the most unique and historic hotels in the country. From Presidents to Mobsters to a wedding in The Great Gatsby, this hour-long tour will take you back to the roaring 20s, showcasing the hotel's unique history and architectural beauty. The tour starts in the hotel lobby. No reservations required.
