Matron of Honor
How did I first meet Tiff you ask? It was the 21st night of September. Love was changing the mind of pretenders, while chasing the clouds away. Just kidding it was a hot summer day, I was about seven and Tiff was around five. For the second time, I asked for a puppy and my parents gave me a younger sibling. I thought she was temporary but Tiff ended up being a chosen sister that I can't imagine life without.
Maid of Honor
I met Tiff as fresh meat during preseason at Colorado College. I was a weirdo. Tiff knew it and embraced me anyway. Through college we became Siff and Tyd, frequently called the other's name by complete strangers. The saga continued after college on Tiff's turf in the DMV where, together, we learned how to be young, professional and independent women. And while Tiff generally responds to my sass with "I can't stand you!", I will continue to list Tiff as an emergency contact.

We met in 2011/2012 in the For His Glory choir at Shiloh Baptist Church. I was already friends with Carol & Nicole so when they gave her their badge of approval I invited her in with open arms. But what truly sealed the deal for me was her on target shade, humorous pettiness and quick wit that kept us all in stitches. Not to mention a heart that spoke directly to mine & drew me in like family...truly another sister.

I have known Tiffany what feels like a lifetime, but in actuality it may have been just that long. From listening to stories on the front pew at church, to outings with our youth group, and now adulthood. I'm so blessed to have her as a sister that I get to choose, and excited that I'm gaining a brother in Patrick.

I met Tiffany in 2006 when she was on a soccer recruiting trip at Colorado College. Little did she know she would be swayed to join the Tiger team and become one of my bestest friends forever ever ever. We’ve laughed a lot, cried a bit, and the only regret is not meeting each other earlier so we could love each other longer. I'm so happy she has found Patrick, and I'm super excited to be a part of their big day to continue the tradition of being there for each other for big life moments.

I met Tiffany during the fateful summer of 2015, on an MBA consulting trip to Myanmar. I don’t quite remember how we paired up so quickly: as partners to work together, room together (basically be trip BFFs), but I’m glad we did. (I clearly recognized her awesomeness right away). Together, in 100 degree heat and 90% humidity, we survived unseen loud critters entering our lake “villa”, seemingly endless hotel changes, and research assignments that were likely thrown in the durian-filled garbage when we left. BUT we rewarded ourselves with a relaxing trip to Thailand immediately afterwards, sealing our beautiful friendship forever after with Mai-tais and Thai massages.

Best Man
Pat and I go back like Nintendo 64 and ocarina of time. Two kids who bonded on some “you play video games?” Random encounter that changes your life type of situation. I had the pleasure of meeting Tiff when I went to DC with my girlfriend. We had a double date and the energy was so beautiful it felt like I knew her for as long as I’ve known Pat. She was every bit of amazing that he had told me she was prior to our meeting. I thought he was exaggerating because she was his lady but, he was spot on with the praise. I actually think he was modest in some aspects of describing how dope of an individual she is, but I can see how it’s easy to be at a loss for words when you encounter an amazing spirit. All the best to the both of you guys in this major event! It’s up and it’s stuck! #BrownIsKing

Growing up, my brother and I did everything together. Anything he did, I wanted to do. I started liking video games and music because of him. Andrew is the definition of a real older brother. If there’s one person I know that wants the best for me I know it’s him. If he sees me clowning around, he’ll let me know. We would argue sometimes as brothers do. As I got older and wiser, seeing how he carries and conducts himself has been nothing but an exemplary role model for me. He’s just as real as it comes, like a second father to me. He’s one person I know if I need advice about anything, he is going to give me the best advice and lead me in the best direction possible. I love you bro and proud of you for all you have accomplished, and happy to be part of another milestone in your life.

I've always known Andrew to be a solid dude. All credit goes to his mom who set him on the right path with discipline, structure and a plan for his future. From my memory, Andrew was always doing some productive, life-advancing stuff, while we played video games. We always had jokes when he would come down the block in his scout uniform, but he was never phased, and walked with confidence. That attitude, confidence and knowledge he gained has taken him to different countries, experiences and now, love. Tiff, by far, is the best thing to happen to him, and I wish nothing but the best for them in the future.

I met Pat week 1 in college and he didn't speak to me too much. Outside of a standard head-nod and "what up", he definitely looked at me like "who are you and why are you in my dorm room?" With him being from Brooklyn, I likely gave of "The Bronx" vibes, so he definitely had his guard up. At that time, that was Pat if you weren't in his circle. Eventually, I found myself in that circle and I tell you, it's truly different on this side. Pat is a loyal, stand up guy with a good heart. Anyone around him can attest to that. When Pat introduced me to Tiffany, she had a good energy about her and it's just what Pat needed. I don't know if she knew at the time, but she was slowly making her way into his circle. And like the rest of us, once you're in, you're family.

Hi, I'm Pat's friend formerly known as Fame but you can call me Q. I met Patrick in college in 2004 which is ironic because we grew up less than half a mile away from each other. Our friendship has grown over the years. From him and the shottas updating me on the latest dances, us sharing takes on music, politics, and more. Our friendship even survived me messing up his hairline lol. I believe I met Tiff in 2017. Just after a few times of seeing Pat and Tiff together I knew that their relationship was special. I even had a dream that the two of them were engaged back in 2018. So I guess you can say I was the 1st one to know Pat was going to pop the big question lol. I am truly happy for Patrick and Tiffany. I'm excited that Brown is King and that King found his Queen.

College, freshman year. Reggae music. Dance floor. The day I met Pat was the freshman party on campus. Dancehall music started playing, so I start bussing some dance moves and all I see is another brother bussing moves too lol. We introduced ourselves and we've been friends since. That was 17yrs ago. I can always count on Pat as a brother but more importantly as that person that I can have those serious conversations with. I've witnessed Pat through the different stages of a life, and my brother is the definition of consistency and progression. I haven't know Tiffany that long, but there is a glow men achieve when the right women has entered their lives. It's safe to say Pat a shine like the SUN!!!! since he's met Tiff. I wish the two of you the best as you journey through life together.

So...I had to reach out to Pat to ask him how I met Tiff. I was low key embarrassed because I couldn't pin the moment since it just felt like I've known her forever at this point. Then when Pat said "you met her at brunch Slink"...I immediately remembered the introduction event. It was at brunch! I remember watching them together and Pat just looked so joyful and at peace. And every time I saw them together, it was always the same feeling. So when Pat broke the news that he's going to propose, I was hype, but not really surprised because as I thought about when I would see them together I just kept thinking to myself, "my bro found his peace." Congrats to both Pat and Tiff and I wish you both more joyful and peaceful days and brunches together lol. Flourish. Rest Easy. Your Future Bright.

I met Pat through a mutual friend, Damion. Come to find out he lived about 10 minutes from my house Queens. With all of our friends in Brooklyn, it was usually a hassle to link up with everyone because of the 30 to 40 minute ride. It was always cool to just with Pat in Queens. He is also responsible for teaching me SQL at a time where computer programming was not my strong suit. I will always cherish our friendship and all the things I learned from him. Tiffany is lucky to have a guy like Pat.

Pat and I met in orientation for college and the plan was to be roommates. First year of college Pat and I had the same major and would Pat be a the person I would spend all nighters with and study with. Pat King Cole is one of the most genuine people you will ever meet. He will be your biggest supporter and give you the best advice filled with truth. Pat told me about Tiffany and said you have to meet her she is amazing. Pat was not wrong and it’s great to see the connection between the two of them. Watching the proposal video felt like a movie come true when you see the look of joy and happiness on both of their faces. #BlackLove
