When should I RSVP by?
Answer
Please RSVP on our website by Friday, August 15th. You are welcome to RSVP before this date. We can’t wait to see you there!

What if I can’t make it?
Answer
You will be missed, but we completely understand that things happen. Please RSVP “no” as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Please plan on arriving before 2:30 pm at St. Mary and St. Athanasius Coptic Orthodox Church to give yourself time to find a seat before the ceremony begins at 3:00.

What time should I arrive at the reception?
Answer
Please plan on arriving at 5:30 pm at Olympia Banquet Hall to give yourself time to find parking and find your seat before the reception begins at 6:00 pm.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Yes, the dress code is formal. We recommend men wear suits, blazers, or button-down shirts with pants, and women opt for a dress, jumpsuit, or dressy separates. Please dress accordingly.

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?
Answer
Yes, there is plenty of parking available at the church. Parking at the reception is somewhat limited though. For this reason, we suggest carpooling or taking an Uber. If the parking lot is full, there’s an option to park in the street. Valet will also be offered for $15.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
We have reserved hotel room blocks for family and guests coming from out of state at Hilton Garden Inn in Calabasas. Please see our Travel Page for more information on booking your stay.

Can I smoke on the property?
Answer
The church and venue are both smoke free property’s. However, you are welcome to smoke in the parking lot just outside of the church and venue.

Can I bring a guest?
Answer
Your invitation is addressed to those who are invited. If it includes a guest, then yes! If not, we prefer to just have you attend. We have a strict guest list to stay on budget and meet our venue restrictions. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Can I bring my kids as a plus one?
Answer
We welcome your little ones! We just ask that you keep a close eye on them and remove them from the ceremony and reception if they are being disruptive.

Do you have a registry?
Answer
We are so excited to celebrate with you and your presence at our wedding is the best present of all and we are lucky to have all that we need. However, if you would like to get us a gift, we have registered for a few items to help us kickstart our life together. Our registry can be found under the registry section.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
Although we can’t predict the exact weather, temperatures in the San Fernando Valley during the month of October will have a high of 78 degrees during the day and a low of 55 degrees at night.
