Flight

San Diego International Airport

There are several potential airports to fly into for our wedding weekend. We recommend flying into the San Diego Airport (SAN) which is 50 minutes south of our venue. There is also the smaller John Wayne Airport (SNA) which is an hour north of the venue. Another option is to fly into LAX which is 2 hours north of the venue.

Northern San Diego County has many beautiful Airbnb options to choose from! We recommend booking early and finding a place north of Encinitas so you are closer to the venue. There will be Friday afternoon traffic, so the closer to the venue the better. Encinitas, Leucadia, Carlsbad, Vista, and Oceanside are all great options.

Below are a few hotel recommendations in Encinitas and Carlsbad, which are towns closer to our venue. We do not recommend staying any further south than Encinitas so that you aren't too far from the wedding venue. We have not organized room blocks, so please book rooms as you wish! Rental Car

Getting Around San Diego

We recommend getting a rental car to travel around San Diego. The venue is about an hour from the San Diego airport, and you'll want the freedom to drive and explore all over the coast. You can either rent from a rental car company at the airport or through the Turo app, which is like Airbnb for cars.
