We're Getting Married!

This is the not the first lifetime in which we have loved each other. We have loved and said "yes" to each other in many lifetimes before this one. Our love story, this time, began in the Bay Area of California. After graduating from college in 2014, we both moved to San Jose and met on a dating app, yes a dating app of all places. After a couple weeks of flirtatious conversation, we finally met for dinner. It was an AWKWARD first date. Due to nerves, Lance couldn't stop talking and Tiffany was quiet as a mouse. The date ended with an awkward hug, but with both of us knowing that we recognized something in the other and we wanted to see each other again. A few days later, Tiffany invited Lance to a Bastille concert on a weeknight, and if you know Tiffany, this was uncommon behavior as she loves her routine and sleep. We had a wonderful time at the concert, even though we were surrounded by thousands of teenage girls and their moms and Lance had no idea who Bastille was while Tiffany sang every word to every song. From then on we couldn't get enough of each other and our love grew quickly guided by our soul recognition. We continued to date for 3 years, learning and adventuring before making the difficult decision to uncouple. During our time apart, we focused on deepening our connection with our own selves. This time apart was difficult, yet was the best possible thing we could have done for our relationship. After a year apart, the synchronicities of life brought us back in to each others' arms and we entered a long distance relationship. Tiffany lived in San Francisco while Lance traveled and grounded in Montana. In 2019, we followed the call of the ocean and moved to sunny Del Mar, where we got tan, ate watermelons on the beach, deepened our connection, and added a sweet golden puppy named Barkley to our family, before following the mysterious pull to Austin in 2021. Since moving to Austin our life has become a waking dream. The joy, fun, and community in our life has expanded exponentially and continues to amaze us every day. In December 2021, Lance proposed in Del Mar on our favorite beach at sunset. Through happy tears, Tiffany said "yes" to another lifetime of magic together.
