Kite or windsurf at Kite Beach Cabarete

Caberete is one of the original kitesurfing meccas! Kite beach is smaller than Cabarete beach but offers the best kiting conditions! This is a link to one of the many kiting schools available. Never personally tried but seems other travelers were satisfied.

Sosua Beach (20 min away). The beautiful beach we grew up often visiting! Many restaurants with delicious local food. Playa Caleton, Playa Grande, Playa Diamante (approx 1 hour away)

Dudú Lagoon

Laguna Dudu is an exciting and mostly unknown paradise located on the north east coast of the Dominican Republic. It's surrounded by natural cliffs from which to swim, snorkel or free dive into refreshing clear waters. A visit to Laguna Dudu can easily be combined with two additional beach activities since it's located within minutes between two playas (beaches) Diamante and Arroyo Salado.
