FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 1st as we are trying to get a proper headcount and want to include as many people as we can!

Question

How is the weather in December?

Answer

Winter is the PERFECT time to be in Mexico. During the day the temperature can get in the 80s, but not humid since hurricane season is already passed. At night the temperature cools down to 60s. Bring your bathing suits and beachwear for the day, but you may want a light layer for cooler evening temps.

Question

When should I start booking my flight and accommodations?

Answer

December is when tourism starts to increase in the area due to the weather being perfect. There is also a wedding happening the same day a few doors down from our venue. Try to book your accommodations as soon as you can!!

Question

Is Sayulita safe?

Answer

Yes, Sayulita is a family-friendly, small village, where the locals welcome visitors. There are no traffic lights and there is only one main road that goes in and out of town. There are no travel advisories for Puerto Vallarta and Sayulita. To avoid any theft, we recommend keeping your valuables locked in your accommodation's safe, just as you would when traveling anywhere else.

Question

Is the water safe to drink?

Answer

Please avoid drinking the tap water. Be careful to use bottled/purified water when you brush your teeth and to make your ice cubes. Food poisoning in Mexico is common as the bacteria is different so be careful with what you eat and make sure to be prepared with probiotics and peptobismol.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Beach cocktail attire. We want you to feel your best, so wear what you are comfortable in. We suggest something that is light, breezy, and festive.

Question

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

Answer

Wear shoes you are comfortable walking, dancing and drinking in! The ceremony will be on the beach!

Question

Whom should I call with questions?

Answer

Please contact our lovely maid of honor (Joyce at joyceenguyen@gmail.com) or the mother of the groom (Terrie) for any questions.

For all the days along the way
