The Secret Is Out: We're Officially Saying I Do...

Jarvus & I initially met nearly 13 years ago... What was just a random grocery store run with my best friend (& now maid of honor), undoubtedly changed my life; He worked there at the time & I vividly remember looking up & before words could find poise, I blurted "Wow he's fine"! I forced my courageous best friend to give him my number & fate began to illustrate a story of its own. After we exchanged numbers, we hung out & chemistry was effortless. We dated for several months, until I made an irrational judgment call & decided to end things over an event that was important to me & he could not make (Yes, at that time I thought it was a sufficient enough reason to call things off & YES I paid for that decision immensely thereafter LOL). Several years later, a journey of growth, a multitude of lessons, technology, God's will & incredible timing-- We found each other on social media & rekindled our friendship. Shortly, we realized this was certainly not just a mere act of fate, but a destiny ordained by God... Proverbs 20:24 reads that It is the Lord who directs your life, for each step you take is ordained by God to bring you closer to your destiny. Together, we have learned that it is entirely achievable & okay to bask in THIS level of "happiness" & even in those times where life may bring despair & moments that we may not readily understand, we know that we'll be okay so as long as we walk this journey hand in hand. We are each other's best friend, reason behind belly-ache laughter, prayer partners, business partners, Netflix & Hulu binge watching partners, parents & so it only seems right & long overdue that we vow before whom brought us together & become one under HIS Holy Name.
