Melissa's Story: When I first met Greg, I was very unsure about him. I figured if he asked me to hang out again, I would since he was pretty easy to talk to and I did find him really attractive. However, I quickly learned that Greg was about to ruin all other guys for me. Greg is the most kind, patient, calm, and giving person I know. Greg opens car doors for me, surprises me with flowers, cooks the most incredible meals, and never judges me. He shows me nothing but unconditional love and I know he will always show that to me. I knew a life with him meant a life following God together, laughing, hiking, and spending time with our family and friends. Greg's Story: When I first met Melissa I wasn't sure and took time to be certain, she would probably say I was slow in coming to the realization I loved her. But, I noticed fairly early on as I got to know Melissa just how kind and supportive she was, and how much she encouraged me. When we first met, my position recently ended, she didn't judge me, instead she encouraged me with hope until I was hired for a new position. Her kindness and support were evident to me early on when after taking my dad to Oregon Veteran's Home to care for his advancing Alzheimer's she insisted on bringing me dinner. It meant a lot to me because we had only met a few times before then. I can give countless many more examples, but suffice to say her love knows no bounds. She is truly kind, giving to those in need and so amazingly supportive. She has continued to amaze me with her love and support every day, and strengthens me spiritually as we both grow in faith in God. It helps that we always have fun outdoors hiking and exploring, along with enjoying the company of our friends and family, especially if it includes a visit to a McMenamin's. I know that through all that this past year has brought, she truly brings me joy, glory to God for bringing us together.
