Payton is my oldest friend--she's my cousin and was born just seven months after me. Growing up we were often joined at the hip whenever we were together. From hours and hours spent playing with animal dolls as kids to sharing beds and secrets during church camps and summer vacations, I'm so blessed to have a cousin who's a best friend.
Drew Collins
Best Man
Drew and I developed a deep relationship when we were in leadership positions at Taylor University and have been close ever since. We were in the same major and had many of late nights writing papers together. Just like we supported each other in college, Drew continues to be a close friend after college and we continue to support each other as we go through similar stages of life.
Leah Bassett
Bridesmaid
I met Leah in my freshman year of college and we decided to room together the next year without knowing each other very much. The quick decision led to an impactful friendship and we became close as we were roommates my sophomore and junior year. Living together for two years, Leah has been such a strong voice of comfort and guidance in my life and, although sometimes it kept us from getting things done, I treasure all the evenings when we'd come home after class and get caught up talking and talking.
Taylor Burns

Taylor and I met in middle school and grew up in church together. We were college roommates for three years, and he has had such a positive impact on my life. He has helped shaped my worldview, as well as pushed me to ask out Hannah. Taylor has always been there for me when I needed him and we have shared lots of quality time with each other, which has included watching through The Office twice.
Mercy Heiser

I met Mercy a little over a year ago when she decided to share an apartment with Ruth, Leah, and me. Mercy and I had only met once before we started to live together, but we quickly realized we shared a great number of interests as well as a homebody nature. This past semester has been so full of wonderfully cozy nights watching shows and movies and sharing excitement over music and art.
Andrew Friesen

I met Andrew in high school and were in the same small group. Andrew came to Taylor University as a freshman when I was in floor leadership. Andrew has always been a great supporter of Hannah and I's relationship. He has taken me on multiple outdoor trips and has invested into me as a roommate and friend.
Ruth Brown
Bridesmaid
Ruth was a sophomore on my floor when I first arrived at Taylor. I got to know her more and more my sophomore and had the joy of living with her during my junior year of college. Ruth's humor, care, and passion made for a splendid year and although we don't live together anymore, I still love opportunities I have to peak through her art journals and laugh (or argue haha) about superheroes and aliens.
Garrett Kaiser

Garrett and I met at Taylor University, as we lived on the same floor and were in the same major. Both led to many late nights discussions and lots of quality time doing homework and nonsense. Garrett has always inspired me to push my limits and think differently. Garrett continues to be a close friend, as well as send me great memes.
