As Chance's little sister, Courtney has always stood by his side. They have been through everything together! Legend has it that when they met, Chance went to shake her hand and she took hold as if she would never let go. (Chance cried because she had an iron grip!) After that, they were inseparable. When they grew a little older, Chance got into a physical altercation when some punk boy decided to call her a French fry because her beautiful hair was so poofy -- "Hey! She's my french-fry" Chance exclaimed as he shoved the kid's chest! Courtney has always been a go-getter. Her approach to life is meticulous and accepting. She taught Chance the value of patience and perseverance. He would be nothing without her love and nurturing. (I love you, sis!)

Avalon and Tianna are two peas in a pod. Their friendship started in 2013 when Tianna moved down to Eugene for college. They met through a friend who recognized how similar the two were. From there, their friendship blossomed into a sisterhood that never waivers and withstands all the changes that occurs in life. Avalon is as beautiful of a soul as she is in her outwardly appearance. Some of Tianna's favorite qualities in Avalon are her enjoyment in exploring and discovering life, making connections with strangers that become friends, finding the enjoyment in all experiences, how amazing of a mother she is and the fact that she is always willing to grow and progress as life is thrown at her.
Anjali Tietz

Anjali and Tianna go way back-- they met in 2009 at a party and quickly recognized their similarities. By the end of the first night they met they were showing each other combatives moves and doting over Anjali's brand new puppy Huxley as the sun rose. Since then, Anjali and Tianna have both reached for the stars in both their careers and personal lives, all the while staying in touch and supporting one another from afar. Whenever they get the opportunity to spend time together, they pick up their friendship right where it left off. Some of Tianna's favorite qualities about Anjali are her constant drive to do and become more, her fun energy and personality, her ability to throw the perfect party/gathering, and her loving, generous spirit.
Noah Brokaw

Going to the same highschool, Noah and Chance did not realize how close of friends they would become until an opportunity to perform at a talent show presented itself. It wasn't until later that these two musicians realized they stood side by side, simultaneously performing on stage, for the first time in both of their lives. As they grew to know each other, it was fate that they would be kin. They quickly moved in with each other and formed a band in Corvallis after jamming for years. Noah has always felt like a brother to Chance and the level of respect they have for one another is immeasurable. Noah is kind, patient, driven, and self-reliant: all qualities Chance admires. Noah has always supported Chance and been there for him. (Noah, you are a brother to me! One Love! )
Brett Williams

Brett and Tianna met in grad school and immediately hit it off during group projects. Brett is as smart as he is fun! From going on a trip to Mexico together to grinding out the final capstone project for their MS in Strat Comm, they've been supportive of one another, an ear to listen when things get tough, and a source of entertainment and fun! Brett has been a constant cheerleader for Chance and Tianna's relationship from the beginning-- and both have a fun and special relationship with him. Some of Tianna's favorite qualities about Brett are his hilarious sense of humor, his ability to truly be himself in every situation, his ability to communicate his thoughts and feelings on any and every subject and his genuinely caring spirit.
Alexandra Racareanu

Alex and Tianna met in graduate school and the pair quickly became friends. During the entire program, Alex brought life and energy into the classroom (you could literally hear her coming down the hallway approximately 10-20 minutes late, every class) and outside the classroom when the cohort did trips and events. Whether it was convertible camping with prosecco at the correct Clear Lake, snowboarding down the mountain, or having a girls' night turn into a boating adventure on the Columbia River, every memory Tianna has with Alex requires an explanation, but that's what makes Alex, Alex. Some of Tianna's favorite of Alex's qualities are her "go with the flow" attitude, her innate sense of finding the fun in every situation, her storytelling skills, and her brilliant, funny banter.
Michael Miller

Michael and Chance's journey together began in Corvallis, while they were both pursuing their passions for music. Through a mutual friend, Michael opted to audition for the lead singer/songwriting role in Noah and Chance's band. When Michael arrived and opened his mouth to sing, the guys were blown away by his angelic voice -- A few hang outs later, Michael and Chance became inseparable. Michael is known for his charismatic personality, his willingness to try new things, and his unrelenting honesty. Michael has a way of bringing life to any situation. To Chance, Michael embodies what it means to be real and true to one's self -- a skill that Chance admires. (Life would be lame AF without you man, I love you! )
Jared Wheeler

Jared, "J-Rock" to the kool-kids, was always a rock in Chance's life. Navigating through the challenges of adolescence and youth, Jared and Chance first connected at the coolest lunch table in school. Jared and Chance had many similar interests when they originally met - including music, video games, the socio-economic ladder of traditional high school students, and girls... All recipes for a bond that could never be broken. Jared is single-handily responsible for some of Chance's greatest memories, experiences, and some of the most genuine gut-wrenching laugh sessions. Chance values Jared's honest opinions, wit, willingness to step out of his comfort zone, and his Nordic bloodline that gives him the superhuman ability to grow beautiful facial-hair feats of majesty. (Luv you, man!)
Zach Pearlswig

Zach and Chance begun their highschool friendship on opposite spectrums of teenage angst and competition. Overtime, Chance and Zach began to build a powerful friendship, sharing interests in many things - from music, video games, hanging out with mutual friends, to embarking in their rebellious youth. Zach, a master of Shao-Linn Kiempo, has always been honest, dependable, and a leader. He is slightly older than Chance, and thusly, responsible for a LARGE amount of near death experiences, as he was the first of the "crew" to have a driver's license. Zach hosted the notorious weekly "GN" (Guy's Night), which was responsible for the cultivation of many of the friendships that you'll see over the week. Chance looks up to Zach as a mentor, brother, and best friend! (Zach, you're the man!)

The Flower Mon
Christopher (AKA Toph, Chris, CJ and our baby brother) has grown up to be the man that we always hoped for. He is kind, wise, helpful, and driven -- Well beyond where we were at his age. He is also unrelentingly honesty and open. He has no fear in asking about your political interests or complimenting someone on their healthy hygiene practices. ;) We are proud to have him set the stage for our wedding and look forward to him helping us to raise our future little ones. He is not only the best brother a sibling could ask for, but an incredible friend that you can rely on. This kid is going places...Make sure to keep your eyes on him in the next few years! (We are so proud of you, Christopher!)
