If you have kids who want some fun entertainment, this is the place for you. If you don't have kids but enjoy entertainment, this is the place for you. Even if you don't enjoy fun, this is the place for you.
Funtastick Family Fun Park
A family fun center for your leisure. Definitely worth a visit!
Tucson Mall
This mall is twice as big as Park Place and has some amazingly unique things, including an escape room and a crepe store.
Stroll through Sabino Canyon
Beautiful, scenic walk through Sabino Canyon with a look at wildlife and even an active dam with a small river at the end of the trail. Very beautiful and should be done at least once!
Tanque Verde Falls Hike
A series of BEAUTIFUL falls! Makes for a very scenic hike through Arizona nature. The weather is perfect in the winter, so no need to worry about overheating. The hike does have a lot of mild climbing and hills, so take note for children and elderly.
Day at Reid Park
Reid Park is a stunning family-friendly and relaxing local park in Tucson. It has a giant fountain in the center of the park with turtles and ducks as its residents. Lots of space for outside sports, a picnic, a casual stroll, a walk through the park rose garden, a kid's jungle gym, etc. Reid Park Zoo is also located here and is a popular local attraction!
Golf N' Stuff
A family-fun mini golf place often occupied by ducks they allow you to feed. It's true! They sell food and everything! Although this place is mainly known for its mini golf, there is LOTS more to do here such as laser tag, bumber cars, water gun boat fights, a small arcade inside, etc. Lots of fun!
Dave & Buster's
A big arcade with a full dine-in restaurant! This is one of our FAVORITE spots for date night if other things are unavailable or we run out of ideas. They have a special deal called Half Price Wednesday, so you if find one outside of AZ, make sure you go on Wednesday so the games are less credits on your game card and you get a better bang for your buck.
Galaxy Theatres
Galaxy Theatre is a luxury movie theater with reclining chairs, food, drinks, and so much more! When you order food, they will even DELIVER it to you in your chair so you don't miss the movie! If you're going to go to the movies, this is the way to do it.
Sahuarita Lake
This is one of the Oakland Family's favorite places to go and is absolutely beautiful! It is surrounded by REAL soft, green grass, places for the kids to play, and if you own or can rent a small kyak and are licensed to fish, you can boat across the lake as much as you want and go fishing!
Day at Canyon Lake
If you're willing to drive a little while and have an all-day trip, Canyon Lake is TONS of fun! It's a large lake located near the Phoenix area and is about a 2-2.5 hour drive from Tucson. You can rent a pontoon boat to take out on the lake for a whole new level of fun. There is even a swing at the lake for public use! Even though this isn't in Tucson, the drive is SO worth it!
