The cruise is titled "4-Day Western Caribbean from New Orleans, LA" to Cozumel, Mexico aboard the ship, Carnival Valor, departing June 18, 2026 and arriving June 22, 2026.
1) Only a passport book or card. If presenting a passport book, it cannot expire before December of 2026. 2) If you do not have a passport, you may bring your birth certificate and a valid photo-ID. 3) A State Enhanced Driver's License (EDL) is valid by itself; this is different from the REAL ID. Guests under 19 years of age without a valid photo-ID may pair their school ID with their birth certificate. Find more info under "Travel Documents and Check-In" at https://www.carnival.com/help.
You can check-in online as early as Tuesday, June 2 and no later than midnight on Thursday, June 18th. This can be accessed through the "Manage My Bookings" page on Carnival and will allow you to choose an arrival time to the port, print off luggage tags and your boarding pass, and avoid delays on the day of embarkation.
Carnival suggests 1 carry-on bag and 1 checked bag per person for a 4-5 day cruise, but they have no restrictions regarding the amount of luggage. However, luggage weight is restricted to 50 pounds and cannot exceed 16 inches high by 24 inches wide. Additionally, guests can only check their bags up until 1:30 PM. Please make sure you print off your personalized luggage tags when you check in for the cruise.
The ceremony will take place on a private beach at Mr. Sancho's Beach Club at approximately 10 AM after our arrival at Cozumel on Saturday, June 20. Mr. Sancho's is a private resort with other guests present, so our Carnival Wedding team will be out front to identify and direct our guests who will be riding with us to the ceremony. Please make plans to travel with our group or arrive at the same time as us to avoid getting lost, as our wedding guests have a different entrance that will closed off Mr. Sancho's customers. The ceremony should only last for 15 mins with an hour to spare for photos and cake cutting.
Yes! Guests can arrange their transportation through us at $25 per person for a roundtrip (back to the ship after the ceremony) or $15 per person for a one-way trip (for those staying at Mr. Sancho's afterwards). We won't require our guests to travel with us, but this option will eliminate the chaos of hunting down a taxi with the other 3,000 people who are leaving the ship, and ensure our guests are on time for the ceremony. Carnival will have a team showing our guests where to go once they arrive at Mr. Sancho's. Payment for transportation arranged through us will be due by April 20th.
The wedding colors are red and cream/white. You may dress in these colors for the ceremony, but there is no dress code.
There will not be a reception following the ceremony. Our guests can ride the van back to the port, change to explore the rest of Mexico, or purchase an all-day pass to stay back at Mr. Sancho's. After the ceremony, those not staying at Mr. Sancho's will immediately return to the port (if a roundtrip taxi was purchased through us). Passes for Mr. Sancho's Beach Club can be purchased in advance at MrSanchos.com. If you're purchasing a pass, we will need your reservation number by May 1st to present to our wedding coordinators so they will allow you to stay behind without a hassle. Guests staying at Mr. Sancho's or those who only purchase a one way taxi will be responsible for their own transportation back to the ship before the 4PM departure time. Currently, we plan to hang out at the restaurant, Pancho's Backyard by the ship, until it's time to board the ship again.
Because our wedding time is tentative and subject to change according to weather or other hiccups, our Wedding managers provided by Carnival advise that our guests do not pay for excursions in advance in case any details surrounding our wedding change in the coming months.
Yes! Our Bachelor/ette Week will take place from Sunday, June 14 - Wednesday the 17th in New Orleans. We have a series of festivities taking place at our Airbnb and throughout New Orleans.
