Unless otherwise specified by the bride or groom, we did not plan for children so please leave them with the sitter and enjoy the night out!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

The hotel is on the same grounds as the ceremony and reception. Therefore if you are staying at the Bay Beach Club there is no need to worry about transportation. If you are staying somewhere else, there is parking available at the venue.

Is the Inn at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club accessible?

Answer

The Inn explicitly states on their website that they allow service dogs. The Inn is wheelchair accessible with elevators and the ceremony and reception area is all one level. If there are any other additional concerns please reach out to the bride or groom!

What will the weather be like in August?

Answer

Generally the month of August on the Eastern Shore is hot. Typically it’s about 70-80 degrees F or 21-27 degrees C. The weather is of course, unpredictable, so check the forecast before you leave! There will be refreshments served before the ceremony to help you cool off and the lobby of the hotel, which is a minute’s walk from the ceremony, has air conditioning.
