We both didn’t normally venture out on the Upper East Side but something that night made our unlikely paths cross at a funky, 1970s themed, go-go dancing bar called Ethyl’s. We began exchanging pleasantries, and honestly I think my uninterested disposition made him want to runaway, because Ryan blatantly checked the time on his phone soon after. That’s when I noticed his cute little dog, Benji, as his wallpaper and soon enough, our love for our pups started a conversation that has yet to stop. We like to think about what the chances were that our paths crossed being from two different countries, both temporarily living in New York, with a population of 8.5 million people. But the stars aligned, there was an instant spark and Benji gets the award for best wing man in our book.
