What will we need to get to Mexico?

Answer

A valid passport is needed to travel internationally. If you need to apply for a new passport, we suggest doing so with plenty of time to spare, since it make be a couple of months before it arrives. If you already have a passport, keep in mind, documentation must be valid for six months beyond the date the traveler will exit the United States so check those expiration dates!

Where should we stay?

Answer

We would love for all our guests to stay with us at Posada del Tepozteco! The hotel has a room block under our name and are offering our party some personalized rates from the Monday before the wedding, until that Thursday. The hotel serves a daily complementary breakfast to all their guests,offers spa services as well as beautiful gardens and a heated pool year round. Do we need to rent a car?

Answer

Not necessarily. Tepoztlán is very walkable, and taxis are easy to find. We’ll also arrange some group transportation options to get to the venue from the city.

Will there be other events besides the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We’re planning a few optional gatherings before/after the big day—think tacos, tequila, and exploring pyramids. Stay tuned for details!

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Wedding attire will be cocktail/semi-formal for this garden soiree! Ladies, flowy dresses and fun pantsuits, bright colors, garden nymphs! Comfortable shoes or something to change into, since there is some cobblestone pathways and the ceremony will be held in the garden. For the Gentlemen, lightweight suits, sport coats/and blazers, long sleeve Guayaberas, tie optional. No open toe shoes.

What will the weather be like in Tepoztlan?

Answer

Tepoztlan is known for it's mild climate and evergreen sights. Be prepared for sunny mornings and cool nights. The venue has a year round heated pool, so pack a swimsuit, too!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is adults only. If you will have infants or young children with you in Mexico, we are happy to ask our wedding venue to arrange for professional babysitting services during our ceremony and reception. Please reach out to Lorenza or Ty to arrange this service.
