It all started back in 2017, in the chaotic world of med school. He was a focused first-year student—so focused, in fact, he seemed to exist in his own little academic universe. I was in my pre-med year, watching from the sidelines as he stayed studying in his oblivious bubble. We didn’t talk much at first (mostly because he was too busy pretending the basement of school was his second home), but even then, he made a strong impression on me. Mysterious. Determined. Possibly part robot? But always eager to help and share. Fast forward to 2019, and somehow this serious study machine became one of my closest friends. Our friendship blossomed as we discovered shared passions, unexpected differences, and a mutual curiosity about each other’s quirks and cultures. Over the past six years, we’ve navigated the highs and lows of med school—and life—side by side. Late-night study sessions, early-morning rounds, endless exams, and somehow, always making room for laughter (with cartoons and snacks). We’ve cheered each other on, challenged each other’s thinking, and helped each other grow—not just as future physicians, but as people. Then, one day, I popped the question: “Will you marry me?” Like a romantic robot, he replied automatically and immediately: “I’ll marry you every day." So here we are. A little older, a lot wiser (sort of), and very much in love. We’re thrilled to invite you to celebrate as we tie the knot and start this new adventure—hand in hand, heart to heart, somewhere beautiful.
