We recommend getting here from The Cadilac Book Westin Hotel by car, but Belle Isle is accessible by a bridge at the foot of East Grand Boulevard. This 982-acre island park features some of the best views of the city, the oldest aquarium in the country, conservatory, and Great Lakes Museum. Sitting at the edge of the Canadian border, you have views of two countries standing in one place.

Corktown, Detroit's oldest neighborhood that is booming! Walk the brick streets and check out all of the restaurants, bars and distilleries- list in the link provided. Check out the recently reopened Michigan Central Station. This iconic building sad dormant and dilapidated for years, and a complete renovation has just been completed. We have not had the chance to see it yet, but are eager to visit!
