Schedule

Since we are both Cambodian, we will be having a traditional Cambodian ceremony. In our culture the ceremony is held at the bride family’s house, so the ceremony will be at Mary’s parents’ home in Long Beach, CA. The ceremony will have many different parts, including a bride procession, blessings from guests (hair cutting ceremony, knot tying ceremony), and more.
The ceremony is expected to be at least four to six hours long which is why the reception will take place the next day. Since traditional Cambodian ceremonies can be very long, we completely understand if you cannot stay for the entire ceremony.
We will be having our reception at Paracel Seafood in Westminster, CA the following day. Here, our guests will be treated to an Asian-style 8-course meal along with a fun night of drinking and dancing!
