To keep everyone connected and updated, we’ve set up a group chat for all guests! This chat will be our main way to share any last-minute details, weather updates, or changes to the schedule. Plus, it’s a great space to coordinate meetups, share photos, and keep the celebration going all weekend. We’d love for you to join us in the chat and stay connect with each other. To help you prepare for the weekend, we've put together guest packets with all the details you’ll need. We originally sent out this information on September 9, including a link to your specific packet based on your accommodations. If it’s easier, you can now access the final version of each packet directly from our Google folder. Link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1nzKIqxiuxJGRN594E3SV4YpcvXe98jJo?usp=sharing Simply locate the packet for the cottage you're staying in, or select the offsite guest packet if you’re staying elsewhere. Inside, you’ll find key details about the schedule, amenities, directions, and everything else to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience during our celebration.
Our wedding celebration will take place outdoors in the North Carolina mountains, so please come prepared for the beauty of nature, including the possibility of cooler temperatures. The attire for our special day is semi-formal, allowing you to embrace both style and comfort. For all guests, you have the freedom to express your personal style within the semi-formal dress code. Feel free to choose attire that makes you feel comfortable and confident. This could mean a suit or dress slacks with a sport coat, or perhaps a stylish dress, elegant separates, or other attire that aligns with your individual style. Ties and jackets are optional, so wear what makes you feel most like yourself. Layering can be a great way to stay comfortable while enjoying the scenic surroundings. As the November weather in the mountains can be a bit unpredictable, we recommend bringing a light jacket or shawl to stay cozy during the evening festivities. Don't forget to wear comfortable shoes, as we'll be celebrating on various terrains. We can't wait to see your stylish interpretations of semi-formal attire, and we appreciate your understanding of the mountainous climate. Your presence and comfort are what matter most to us.
With our celebration nestled in the beautiful mountains, we know that weather can be a little unpredictable. If it looks like we'll be rained out, please proceed directly to the Main House, where you'll be directed to an indoor or covered location for both the ceremony and reception. We’re set up to ensure everything stays cozy and comfortable, no matter the weather. Tip: We recommend bringing an umbrella, especially for the walk from the parking lot to the Main House. This will help keep you dry and ready to celebrate with us, rain or shine!
Parking is directly on estate grounds, with the main lot being a short walk away to the ceremony site. Those who are staying at the estate will be able to in the small lots directly next to their cabin. There will be signs to guide you! Small shuttle transportation will be arranged for who are unable to make the walk to the ceremony site. Shuttle transportation is also available for those staying on site to get around the grounds.
Due to limited estate space and dining arrangements, we are only able to accommodate the guests who have received a formal invitation. While we adore children, we have chosen to host an adults-only celebration to ensure that everyone can fully immerse themselves in the festivities. We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation in making this event a night that all adults can enjoy to the fullest.
If there is an accommodation you need to ensure your comfort during this weekend and it is NOT on the RSVP, please do not hesitate to reach out to either Ethan or Alex and we will immediately work to arrange it for you.
