Here is the story of how we fell in love:
Stephanie and Ryan’s story started at Hollywood Studios’ Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano, where Stephanie was working as a Management Intern. Ryan had joined the Mama’s team from The Sci-Fi Diner in late October, working as the Sous-Chef. Stephanie was immediately smitten with Ryan, referring to him as “Cute Chef” to her friends and family. After several weeks of shameless flirting in the kitchen and many late nights getting to know each other at the local Ale House, Ryan finally asked Stephanie on a real date.
Ryan was very thoughtful in planning their first date, asking Stephanie to Disney Springs to see a movie he knew she was excited about, “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.” Stephanie is a longtime Harry Potter fan and, luckily, they both loved the movie. Afterwards, they headed to Raglan Road for drinks and appetizers, where they sat for hours to talk and laugh. From that point on, they were inseperable.
After a year of dating, Ryan asked Stephanie and Kitty to move into his apartment, where they started building a long-term life together. Just a few months later, they added another fur baby to the family, Luna aka “Little Kitty.” Their shared passions of amazing food and drinks soon turned into a love for travel. They began exploring the world, making memories in Costa Rica, England, and France. They also began their journey of visiting all of Disney’s global theme parks, checking off Disneyland, California Adventure, and Disneyland Paris all within a couple years.
After weeks of choosing the perfect ring for Stephanie with the help of his family in Coral Springs, Ryan made the trip down to the jeweler on December 23rd to finally pick up the ring! He was planning to propose on Christmas Eve while her family visited them for the day in Orando. On his way back from Coral Springs with the ring in tow, Ryan hit horrible traffic, delaying his plans. He kept the ring in his pocket the entire day, waiting for the perfect moment to pop the question. The hours pass quickly when you’re having fun. Stephanie’s family had returned back to Tampa and Stephanie and Ryan were back home. She was putting away laundry in their bedroom when Ryan stopped her suddenly. Right there, in the comfort and privacy of their bedroom surrounded by their kitties, Ryan got down on one knee and asked Stephanie to be his wife. Of course, she said “YES!” while choking back streams of happy tears. And just like that, they became The Future Mr. and Mrs. Usha!
