FAQs

The Wedding Website of Sophie Thompson and Sam Mark
Question

Can I bring a plus-one or kids?

Answer

We are excited to celebrate with those named on the invitation! Sadly we do not have room for any additional guests outside of those listed on the invitation. Please reach out to us directly if you have any questions regarding those named on your invitation.

Question

How do I RSVP for the wedding? When is the RSVP due?

Answer

All RSVPs are being collected digitally. Once invitations (not Save the Dates) have been sent, please visit the RSVP tab of our Zola wedding website and enter the first initial & last name of a member of your party, which will locate your invitation. Please complete the prompts to submit your RSVP by June 30, 2026. We sincerely appreciate your response by June 30th!

Question

What hotel should I book?

Answer

Our official wedding room blocks are reserved at the Courtyard Marriott and Springhill Suites by Marriott in Fishers. Both of these options are available at a discounted rate using the links under our "Hotel Blocks" tab on Zola. If you would like to make alternate accommodations, a few options close to our venues are the Hyatt House/Hyatt Place or the Hotel Nickel Plate -- all located on 116th St in Fishers.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

All guests will be responsible for their own transportation for the wedding weekend. For our out-of-state guests flying into Indianapolis, renting a vehicle will provide the most flexibility and ease of navigating the area; however, rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft should be readily available if needed. Of note, the Fishers area is an approximately 45 minute drive from Indianapolis International Airport.

Question

Can I take pictures or record during your ceremony?

Answer

We have hired incredibly talented professionals to capture photo and video of our nuptial mass! Out of respect for their talents and the sanctity of the church sanctuary, our nuptial mass will be a device-free ceremony. We appreciate our guests being present in the moment with us and respecting our wishes for cell phones and personal cameras to remain silenced and out of sight during the mass.

Question

What time should I arrive at the nuptial mass?

Answer

Our nuptial mass will begin at 2:00. We kindly ask that guests have arrived and are seated by 1:45 PM. Per St. Louis de Montfort parish policy, those arriving after the processional has started will be required to wait in the Narthex until the conclusion of the processional, at which time they will be directed to the pews nearest the Narthex to minimize distraction.

Question

Can we go straight to the reception venue from the church?

Answer

Our reception venue is unable to accommodate guests prior to the start of cocktail hour at 5:00 PM. We kindly ask that you explore the Fishers/Carmel area or take some downtime between the end of the nuptial mass and the start of the reception. Please see the "Things to Do" tab for some of our favorite restaurants or bars in the area!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is semi-formal (Questions? See article: http://bit.ly/3P8aFe8). Out of respect for the sanctity of the Catholic mass, we appreciate modest and tasteful attire choices as appropriate for this holy setting.

Question

What is the parking situation at your venues? Can I leave my car at the reception venue overnight?

Answer

There is plenty of parking available at both St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church and Plum Creek Golf Club! Safety absolutely comes first, and we encourage guests to use a rideshare service for transportation after the reception. Plum Creek Golf Club allows vehicles to be left in the parking lot until 10:00 am on Sunday morning.
