Together we have navigated the teacher education program, became Neighbor mates my junior year, and have survived many years in education. After almost 10 years she has become one of my best friends, and I could not imagine saying ‘I Do” without her standing there!

Derrick and I met the summer of my freshman year at Tennessee State University (TSU) during Boot Camp! We became friends, roommates and He has become like a brother to me. Now it is time to see if he can live up to his new role as my Best Man!

Rachel and I met freshman year at Tennessee State University in College Algebra! Little did we know that almost 10 years later we would still be in each other’s lives as best friends! We later became bond sisters and a major support systems in each other’s journeys while at TSU. Rachel is one of my best friends and I cannot imagine my big day without her standing by my side!

Justin and I also met the summer of my freshman year at TSU at Boot Camp, as my counselor. That Fall he became my RA and helped me acclimate to the college experience. Since then He has grown to be one of my closet friends, 10 years later I am honored that he will stand by my side as I say, “I Do”.

Alisha and I met my sophomore year and her freshman year at Tennessee State University through my Fiancé Robert! We instantly became friends, then LYLAS sisters and now she is one of my best friends! After years of everyone thinking we were Twins and us sharing our Parent Trap themed story with all TSU, I am happy that no matter what she is always there! I couldn’t not envision my day without her standing by my side!

My Actual blood brother, Jermaine has been there for me since day one (literally). He has taught and showed me so much about life, and has given me a niece, nephew and sister! I’m happy that he will be here in the states to celebrate my big day!

Angelica and I met my Junior year at Tennessee State University while she was an incoming freshman through my Fiancé Robert! Our love for monograms and all things southern instantly connected us! Becoming her mentor, sister and friend has connected us and given me an opportunity to watch her grow into a beautiful woman! I could not see my big day without Angelica standing by my side!

Wayne may be my cousin but he’s more like a brother to me. I probably would not be where I am now if it wasn’t for the ups and downs and life lessons I’ve learned with him. I am proud to have him apart of this big day!

Shawn and I met 27 years ago when I arrived in the world as her little cousin! Ever since just like Sierra she has been stuck with me! From the many summers at grandma’s house when she would scare me, the multiple times she did my hair, introducing to LYLAS at TSU, and being only a call away. I could not imagine her not standing by my side on my Big day as I stood by her on hers!

Tripp will be my new Brother in law who I met through his sister back in 2012. He has become the little brother I never had, and it has been cool to watch him grow over the last 8 years. Even though he thinks he can beat me in Basketball, I am happy to have him apart of my Big Day!

Sierra and I met 27 years ago when I entered in the world as her little cousin! Since that day, she has been stuck with me! The many summers we spent at our Grandma’s house where she and her sister would scare me, to the many times she would babysit to introducing me to the greatest Sorority in the whole wide world! I could not imagine Sierra not standing by my side on my Big Day as I stood by her on hers!!

Markiel and I met the summer of my freshman year at TSU. Another member of the boot camp crew, Markiel and I have been through it all! From running student government and now next to me at the altar, of course I would want him to share in this occasion with me!

Abbey and I met summer of 2002 when she came to Nashville to work as an intern with CSM! Since then she has become my mentor, sister and friend, who has helped me navigate through first loves, heartbreaks, and life! The many Sonic trips when she would pick me up from school, sleepovers, summer pool parties, and life talks has helped me grow into the women I am today! I cannot picture my wedding without her standing by my side!
