Take the Gondola up from just outside the Fairmont to explore the mountain, hike and take in the views. At the top, you can take the peak to peak gondola, walk the suspension bridge and find restaurants or bars in the lodges. Beginner or advanced hikers welcome. *Tickets will need to be purchased to ride the gondola. Epic Pass holders will not need to purchase a ticket.
Those looking for a hike close to Whistler, the Train Wreck Hike is a great one. Only 15 minutes from Whistler, this is an easier hike that will take you roughly 1.5 hours depending on your pace and takes you through a suspension bridge and past an old broken down train car. For those looking for a more challenging hike, Joffrey Lakes is one of our favorites. Located just under an hour from the Whistler Village, the hike takes you past three main glacial lakes and a waterfall. Depending on your pace, this hike will take between 3-5 hours. All Trails Ranking: Hard
