Is there food at cocktail hour?
Answer
Yes! We will have several passed appetizers as well as fruit trays! Passed Apps: Bacon Wrapped Scallops, Miniature Italian Meatballs, Bruschetta

What's for dinner?
Answer
Chicken Option: Chicken Picatta with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Italian Green Beans Steak Option: Petite Filet Mignon with Roasted Potatoes and Italian Green Beans For dessert we will have a variety of cupcakes! There will also be a hot pretzel bar later in the evening.

What do you mean by "formal"?
Answer
We want you to dress your best! Ashley has always envisioned a princess wedding. Guys: No jeans/shorts, jackets are optional but highly encouraged, all manners of suits are welcome Ladies: Long gowns are encouraged but not required, cocktail length is perfectly acceptable! Feel free to go all out, don't worry you won't out shine the bride.

Is there a bar?
Answer
Yes! We will have an open bar serving a limited selection of beer, wine, and cocktails. We will also have soft drinks, tea, coffee, water, and lemonade available.

Can I wear . . . ?
Answer
In short, the answer is probably yes so long as you aren't wearing white! If you are really concerned about attire feel free to reach out to anyone in the bridal party or send an email to the wedding email (wildewedding2026@gmail.com) and we will try to answer ASAP. Note: if you are trying to get an answer within a week of the wedding it will be a lot more difficult to get ahold of the happy couple so try to plan ahead.

Should I be concerned about weather?
Answer
Nope! We know North Carolina weather can be all over the place - luckily in April heat usually isn't the problem. If you are worried about being chilly make sure to throw a sweater in your suitcase. There is a backup plan for rain and/or bitter cold but we are hoping for a nice spring day!
