Dress is cocktail attire (not sure what exactly that means? Here is a good breakdown! https://www.brides.com/story/wedding-dress-code-explained). The ceremony and reception will both be outdoors in July -- so expect some heat before the sun sets! The reception is on grass so would avoid pointy heels which may be tough to walk around on the grass. The after party (late night) will be indoors!
Kids will not be invited to the ceremony or reception. However, kids are more than welcomed at the Welcome Party on Friday 7/1, or the Sunday Send-off on 7/3! Thanks for understanding.
Getting to the wedding: Couple options 1) you can drive -- there is ample parking! 2) You can uber/lyft, just give yourself a bit of buffer time as there are not typically many ubers/lyfts in the area (i.e. ~10 minute waiting time for pick up) Getting home from the wedding: We will have shuttle options available for your return to the hotels / Poway area after the wedding. The venue allows overnight parking, so we are recommending guests leave their car overnight and take the shuttle home if you have enjoyed a couple beverages! Additionally, ubers/lyfts are even less available in the late evening so this will be the most reliable option! Coordinate with a friend to pick up cars left at the venue by 11:00am Sunday morning!
When you RSVP on the website, feel free to add this in to the notes section and we will be sure to take it into account. Thanks!
The majority of the weekend will be outdoors! This includes ceremony & reception The only indoor events will be the Welcome Drinks on Friday July 1, 2022 (inside a brewery) and late night drinks & dancing after the reception inside the venue. If you are not comfortable with being indoors, then please skip this portion of the weekend. Additionally, if you are feeling sick or experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, we kindly ask that you stay home in order to keep everyone safe & healthy. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out!
