Join us for a float down the Yampa River! This float is a lazy river, with absolutely no white water and is child-friendly. Meet us at Backdoor Sports (841 Yampa St, Steamboat Springs, CO 80487). We will be taking off and putting into the river at noon. Please arrive by 11:30 to get your rentals and get checked in. Tubes are available for rent for $25, this will also include a shuttle back to the launch location. Feel free to bring your own tube or paddleboard, but you will need to arrange a ride back to the launch location. Shoes are required - NO FLIP FLOPS, SLIDES OR CROCS are allowed. You will need a river shoe that attaches to your feet. These are available to rent for $5. BYOB – we’ll be drinking, relaxing, and celebrating with you all, so feel free to pack a few beers for the river (no glass). After we get off the river, there are a ton of restaurants within walking distance of the launch area. Please keep in mind this event is weather-dependent.

Please see the travel tab for parking info. Address: 2300 Mt Werner Circle, Steamboat Springs, CO There is a large parking garage across the street. You will need to pay for parking. Head to the Gondola Base: The Steamboat Gondola is located in Gondola Square, just a short walk from Steamboat Grand. You will walk down the escalator and see a large outdoor amphitheater. Walk towards the ski hill, and you will see the gondola ahead. Board the Gondola: Check in with our wedding attendant at the gondola to receive your gondola pass. The ride to the top takes about 10 minutes. Arriving at Thunderhead Lawn: Once you arrive at the top, Thunderhead Lawn is a short walk from the gondola station. You can't miss it! Follow the signs, or our wedding attendants will be there to guide you. A Few Things to Keep in Mind: Please arrive early to allow time for parking and boarding the gondola. The ceremony will start at 3. Please be on the Gondola no later than 2:15.
4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
After the ceremony, we’ll be celebrating at The Boathouse with light bites and cocktails. Parking Information Street parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no dedicated parking for The Boathouse. Since parking is limited, we highly recommend carpooling or taking the shuttle if you’re staying at the Steamboat Grand. If you've rented an airbnb in town, we recommend that you park at your airbnb after the ceremony and walk to the Boathouse from there.
5:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Dinner will be served at 5:30 PM, followed by drinks, live music, and dancing. We can’t wait to celebrate with you! Transportation Information: Please plan to get yourself back to where you’re staying after the reception. We encourage our guests to stay in downtown Steamboat, within walking distance of the ceremony. If you've had a few cocktails, Ubers/Lyft are available in town.
