Through a blessing she believes could only have come from God, Valeria received the opportunity to come to the United States and begin a completely new chapter of her life. To her, it was not luck, but a divine gift. The United States had always lived in her heart, and when she finally arrived, she felt something deeply comforting—she was exactly where she was meant to be. Although she came with many dreams and happiness, she also carried the quiet sadness of leaving behind her parents, her beloved dogs, and the life she had always known. Yet through it all, she trusted that God was guiding her steps. Her journey became one of healing and faith. Through Jesus, she found strength, purpose, and restoration. Along the way, God placed incredible people in her life who became family, teaching her that belonging is not only about where you come from, but also about the people God brings into your life. At that time, neither Thomas nor Valeria fully knew how their paths would come together—but God did. Sometimes when you meet your soulmate, explanations are unnecessary. There is simply a quiet certainty in your heart. Thomas was the man Valeria had unknowingly prayed for, and Valeria was the woman Thomas had been asking God to bring into his life. They are also proud cat parents to their four beloved cats—Roo, Pheona, Winston, and Lacey—who are a very special part of their family. Their relationship is also a beautiful blend of cultures—Peruvian and American—two different backgrounds united by one heart.
