The Wedding Website of Thomas LeClair and Sunisa Yingarthan
We are fully aware that Thailand is on the other side of the world for most of you. It is a long journey and a significant commitment of both time and energy. Because of that, we want to be very clear: please do not feel any obligation to attend. We know it is a lot to ask, and we feel your love and support just as strongly from afar! For those who are up for the adventure, we want to make your arrival as seamless as possible. I am happy to help you navigate the arrival process in Bangkok and answer any questions about getting through the airport. Additionally, we have partnered with a professional transportation company to provide comfortable, direct rides from Bangkok to Hua Hin. Once you land, we will make sure you are taken care of. Where to Stay: For your comfort and convenience, we recommend the Movenpick Resort as the primary hub for our wedding weekend. We have chosen this location to ensure everyone is close to the festivities and can enjoy the best the area has to offer.

Hotel

Mövenpick Asara Resort & Spa Hua Hin

53 Soi Hua Hin 5, Tambon Hua Hin, จ.ประจวบคีรีขันธ์ 77110, Thailand

This is where we'll be having our wedding! So of course you can stay here. It's easiest.

Flight

Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK)

Feel free to make your own travel arrangements for your arrival and any pre-wedding exploring you’d like to do. Thailand has so much to see, and we want you to make the most of your trip! For the leg of the journey between Bangkok and Hua Hin, we have a transportation company on hand to help. If you have questions about how to get around or when to head toward the resort, please reach out to me. I’m happy to help you coordinate your arrival at the wedding hub whenever you are ready.

Travel Note

Official Thailand Travel Portal

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) website serves as a one-stop shop for travel planning. It features practical guides, news on upcoming events, and stories that showcase the beauty of Thailand. It is a highly recommended resource for making the most of any visit to the country.

Travel Note

Digital Entry Requirements

As a reminder for 2026 travel, please ensure you have completed your Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online 24 to 48 hours before your flight. You will need to show the QR code to the airline at check-in and again at immigration in Bangkok. Pro-Tip: "If you are staying in Bangkok for a few days, try to use the BTS (Skytrain) or MRT (Subway)

Travel Note

Grab App

Download the Grab app (similar to Uber) before you arrive. It is the most reliable way to get around Bangkok and Hua Hin with fixed, fair pricing. You can link your credit card or pay cash so you don't have to worry.

Travel Note

Money and Currency

Major spots take Visa, but cash is still king for the authentic Thai experience. Don't bother exchanging money before you fly; you'll get a much better rate here in Thailand.

Travel Note

E-SIMs

I recommend setting up an eSIM before you fly so you have data the moment you land. You can buy a "Tourist 5G" plan directly from AIS or TrueMove online. It’s much cheaper than US roaming plans, and you'll need the data for things like Google Maps and Grab! Local SIMs: If you prefer a physical card, there are kiosks for AIS and TrueMove in the BKK arrivals hall. They can get you set up in five minutes.
