Red or White Wine & Gourmet Center

Wine, cheese, and pizza! Do I need to say more? No. I mean, they serve local beers and cocktails too, bruschetta, brisket, and daily chef specials, and though you can't go wrong with anything on the menu, I really recommend sharing an antipasto board and a pizza with someone. Pick out your own wine bottle from the wine shop, seat yourself, and if you can, order everything on the menu!

They have about six beers on tap that they brew on site. I like to go whenever Good Guy Food truck is there. Check out the food truck schedule here:

USS Alabama

Visit the past and honor the memories of sacrifices made with a visit to the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park in Mobile, AL. The 155-acre park is home to the WWII battleship USS Alabama, the USS Drum submarine, aircraft, tanks, artillery, memorials, and much more!

Swamp Loop

Located on South's campus. If you're looking for an outdoor trail for a run or walk. This 1.5 mile loop wraps around a marsh. There are three sets of monkey bars located along the loop for that can be used for pull-ups, dips, or babies can play on these. Just watch out for the alligators! The swamp loop provides great views, and wildlife.

Gulf Coast Gator Ranch & Tours

Experience true redneckery out in the boonies. Board one of the high speed airboats, and take a unique journey through the surrounding wilderness. You'll see alligators, birds and marine life in their natural habitat, as you tour our 105 acres of swamp.
