Kathleen & Thomas

Kathleen and Thomas had known each other for a while, but their connection had always been strictly “hey-how’s-it-going” friendly—until Monique and Bob’s wedding flipped the script. Monique, Kathleen’s best friend, and Bob, Thomas’s best friend, had tied the knot, and apparently, the universe thought, *"Hey, let’s make this a two-for-one special."* That night, Kathleen caught the bouquet with laser precision, and Thomas snagged the garter like a man on a mission. Coincidence? We think not. After the wedding, Thomas asked Kathleen on a date, and she said yes, probably assuming it’d be a casual evening. Nope. Thomas practically set up camp in her living room, and what should’ve been a simple date turned into a three-day weekend that had all the intensity of a reality show romance—minus the cameras (we think). At the time, Kathleen was gearing up for a move to Texas, dreaming of wide-open spaces and a fresh start. But after spending three days with Thomas, she thought, *"Why start over when I’ve got this guy glued to my couch?"* Plans changed, and they decided to take a leap of faith on each other. Fast forward over a year to a road trip, where Thomas got down on one knee and asked Kathleen to spend forever with him. She said yes, possibly because she’d already seen his ability to commit to a weekend and figured forever couldn’t be that much different. The rest, as they say, is history!
