Amelia & Thomas

Wedding Party

Nina Orlando

Matron of Honor

Nina Bean-uh, my Big Sissy, is one of a kind! We are four years apart, but sometimes I feel like she is my (louder) other half, my best friend, my yin to my yang (on good days), my therapist and so much more! Nina has always showed me love, honesty, and what it takes to be tough. While Nina was away at college, we became super close. Sister Time, is something we look forward to. I am truly lucky to call her my sister and I am beyond honored to have her standing by my side as I get married. Forever, The Orlando Sister's <3

Allison Gibino

Maid of Honor

Allison or Ally G as I like to call her, has been my best friend for 28 years. We grew up together as next door neighbors; we share many memories together, from playing in the yard as little girls, to sleepovers, and makeovers. We have a strong and unbreakable friendship that I am truly thankful for. She's like a sister to me. Allison was always the first one that I'd share our life events with. Our pregnancies and weddings are ironically close together and we're grateful. I look forward to 28 more years being your best friend and having our children grow up together and develop a strong bond, just like us.

Sabrina Marerro

Bridesmaid

Sabrina, AKA Salsa and I met in middle school. We always joked to classmates that we were related as cousins. Naively, they believed us with our tan skin and dark hair. Sabrina is the most positive, loving and carefree spirit I know. There's never a dull moment and her smile is contagious. We share the love of the beach and traveling and anything to do with the sun and yummy food. Although Sabrina moved away for college, and moved years later to NY, we always maintained a close relationship. When I announced I was pregnant, I sent her a card that stated "only the best friends become aunties". There wasn't a dry eye during our Facetime moment. When I drop her off at the bus stop, we don't share a "goodbye" but rather a "I'll see you soon!”.

Lauren McKeel

Bridesmaid

Lauren and I met in Nags Head when Thomas introduced me to his family during a beach vacation. She was only 13 years old but I learned quickly about her personality; she's friendly, fearless, and was Thomas's little shadow. She adored Thomas and I knew I needed to earn her trust. I admit it was a little intimidating but I hope I won her heart as his. Over the past 7 years we've participated in race events, gathered at many family dinners and as of recently, we've become gym buddies. She welcomed me into her life and called me a sister in law before I was engaged. I admire her positive attitude, involvement in her sorority, volunteering and working two jobs. She was one of the first people to visit the hospital when I gave birth and makes a wonderful "Aunt Lolo" to Benjamin.

Stephanie Coppedge

Bridesmaid

Stephanie and I met thanks to our mutual friend, Brittany Campbell. Stephanie, is my unicorn and glitter loving - hula hoop diva! Her unique sense of humor and laughter will light up any room. She has a kind and tender heart and is equally talented. Though Stephanie and I have always had very different tastes and enjoy different hobbies, I like to think that over the years in our friendship, we’ve both influenced each other for the better and have realized we share more similarities than differences. The memories that we have together are just as colorful and unique as our friendship.

Brittany Campbell

Bridesmaid

Brittany and I met 8 years ago in Yorktown, thanks to a mutual friend I went to high school with. Brittany and I quickly became friends as we both enjoyed music, hanging out with friends and spending quality time with family. Brittany and I spent so much time together in our early twenties, that there was a point in time that she had her "own" room at the Orlando house. We would laugh about this because I would refer to it as, “Brittany’s Room.” She is a caring person that works hard and loves hard too. She has a big heart that can nurture any friendship. I admire her motivation and perseverance and I am so happy to have her as one of my bridesmaids.

Caitlin Johnston

Bridesmaid

Caitlin and I met while attending our church's confirmation preparation courses in 2015. We soon realized we had many similarities; she attended York High which was one of Grafton's rivals and her son, Charlie is my nephews name. What I admire about Caitlin is her commitment in developing her relationship with God. We bonded over Confirmation and our shared faith brought us together. She wanted to be baptized in the Catholic church and I was working hard to be Confirmed. Our commitment to our faith grew in the Church and so did our bond. I admire her honesty, thoughtfulness and openness and truly value her friendship.

Stephen Faircloth

Best Man

Stephen is Thomas’s second eldest brother. These two are definitely two peas in a pod or as they would call themselves, “The Twin Towers.” They share a bond that is one of kind, unique to each of their personalities and stronger than their beloved, Avengers characters. I can honestly say, that I have never heard two brothers talk on the phone longer than they have, laugh louder than they have, and enjoy Starbucks cold brew more than they have together. Stephen is a great brother to Tommy and I am happy to have him as my future brother in law.

Jamie Faircloth

Groomsman

Jamie is Thomas’s oldest brother. He is a great big brother to Thomas and shows is appreciation whole heartedly. He’s an amazing father to his kids and puts his family first. Jamie has a great sense of humor and will be a great addition to our wedding party. Thomas and I are both lucky to have him as our Big Bro.

Charles Dark

Groomsman

Chuck as we both call him, is my brother in law and Thomas’s soon to be brother in law. These two have spent many family gatherings together and often questioned where the other one was, if one was missing. Over the past 6 years, these two have become golf buddies, fathers to sons and can now say they have both been groomsmen for one another. We are blessed to have Chuck in our lives.

Duane Faircloth

Groomsman

Duane is Thomas’s father and best friend. These two share a love of building, inventing, practical joking, and making any moment a memorable one. We both love Duane and appreciate his sense of humor, his thoughtfulness and his generosity. We are happy to have him be apart of our Big Day and even more blessed to call him Dad and my future father in law.

Travis Faircloth

Groomsman

Travis is Thomas’s uncle. They share a close bond that is similar of a best friend or sibling. While Thomas was living in LA and Travis was living in San Francisco, they both made it important to maintain a close friendship and see each other often. Though they have lived in different states, years later, they have shared many memories together that included ski trips, trips to St. Petersburg, and many adventures in Boston. These two keep each other laughing to the point where others may be confused as to what they were laughing about in the first place. We are both so thankful of Travis and love having him back in VA.

Terry Crockett Jr.

Groomsman

Terry Jr. is Thomas’s step brother. Being only a few years apart, these two share a unique brotherhood. Some may think the bond between step siblings to be less authentic or strained; however, I have only seen genuine love and respect between them. We are both so very happy to have Terry Jr in our lives and to have him be apart of our special day.

Logan McKeel

Groomsman

Logan is Thomas’s youngest brother. Logan and Thomas have a unique and powerful friendship that I absolutely love to witness. They are 12 years apart, but you would never guess that. These two both enjoy acting out skits together and speaking in funny voices. Logan brings so much love and joy to the family. I am so happy he is my future brother in law. We are so proud of him and the young man he has become.
