For much of our relationship we were a long distance couple. Since at least one of us was going to be traveling every time we'd get together, it wasn't a big jump (according to Erica) for both of us to travel and embrace the opportunity to go on adventures. In less then 12 months we have been to 4 foreign countries, 8 states and the district of Columbia, skied out west (with Erica's 85 year old grandfather), gotten Mike on a horse, swam in one of the Great Lakes, hiked in the Adirondacks, practiced yoga, snorkeled with a Manta Ray, explored two desert, Machu Pichu, and the Galapagos Islands, visited the Holy Land, Petra, and both of our home towns, Landed tickets to see Come From Away (thank you Ed and Phyllis) on Broadway and the new National Museum of African American History and Culture, attended 6 friends weddings, a Bar Mitzvah, and a Bris! And we are about tied on percentage of each others family we've met. Erica has met 9 out of Mike's 11 relatives, and Mike has met 85 out of Erica's 107. And after all of that, we agree, our favorite experience is our Shabbat practice of getting massages and then ordering take out from Sammy's Noodle Shop and relaxing together on the sofa.
