Wedding Party

Steph

Maid of Honor

Pam and Steph have been largely connected at the hip since becoming friends in the 9th grade. Bound by a never ending string of adventures, they enhance and enrich each other's wanderlust and tendency to scheme and plan. Together with their friends, they've explored Alaska, Finland, and the nitty gritty of the U.S. on a pipe-dream road trip coast-to-coast and back. It is a friendship of a million dreams, with the bones of a thousand successful undertakings. An artist by trade and by passion, Steph is so excited to help Pam and Kevin's dream wedding come to life. She's so grateful to be a part of the adventure and the journey of their love story.

Quin

Best Man

This is my brother from another mother, except we share the same mother. We used to make B horror movies as kids. One classic involving my hand and a close up of Blending tomato. Later in life Quin would going on to film school at USC in L.A. During college he would return one summer and coached my Soccer team "The killer Bunnies". Due to a bet he ended up having to coach our championship in a bunny costume. Quin is now a editor for shows on Netflix (Rhythm & Flow, Song Exploder). He also has competed in many marathons and was crazy enough to do a 100 miles in one week challenge.

Elise

Maid of Honor

Elise wishes Pam were a boy named Michael but she’s mostly gotten over that. As the older sister, Elise was responsible for imparting crucial knowledge about life, relationships and the universe. Pam is still waiting. The two of them have managed not to kill each other all over the world and are about to take on their biggest challenge yet at Pam’s wedding day. Elise recently returned from three years of service with the Peace Corps in Kyrgyzstan and is currently pursuing her graduate degree.

Josh

Best Man

Josh is my brother from another mother and he's been my step brother since I was 4, so as early as I can remember. When I entered into the family he took me under his wing and we would many a evening watching action films/playing video games. He was doing long haul commercial driving for a while, which inspired me later to pursue a similar career.

Mikayla

Bridesmaid

Mikayla met Pam at a very early age, when they shared the same babysitter. They grew up together in Cornwall making blanket forts and playing soccer. Although they have spent most of their adult lives separated, each chasing their dreams, their bond continues to be unbreakable and they have created everlasting memories across the US and the globe. From Pam's first kindergarten kiss to high school lunchtime nonsense to copied college papers :/ to airport pickup mishaps, these friends have been through a lot together with a ton of more nonsense to come! Today you can find Mikayla in California, climbing mountains and planning her next crazy adventures.

Johnny

Groomsman

Well Johnny I met in a video store I was working at one afternoon. He went on a long lecture about the rise and fall of Bruce-splotation film. We later would bond over film masterpieces like "fritz the cat", "Cat people" and "The Cat and the hat". He also introduced me underground Comix of the 70's. In a futile attempt he would try to strike up intellectual conversations in the library with me. Johnny graduated UAF in anthropology? His true passion is writing and drawing comics. For the time being he's driving buses and taking names.

Rachel

Bridesmaid

Rachel and Pam met in fifth grade but became close during freshman year of high school. Since then they’ve shared countless adventures together from Boston, to Disney World, to Finland. Even though they aren't living in the same area, hanging out together all the time, having sleepovers and sleepwalking? their friendship will always be everlasting no matter where life takes them. Rachel is currently working as a pharmacist in New Jersey and now New York! #legaldrugdealer Make sure you have a valid prescription before you ask her for some Viagra. She spends what little free time she gets ice skating and powerlifting like a pro!

Charlie

Groomsman

I have known Charlie since the dawn of time. During our time being friends we have gotten into all sorts of shenanigans. like getting a trash bag full of slurpy, making the largest pair of headphones (boombox+ducttape), jumping over oil drums reenacting Donkey Kong. We started a group in college "Amateur Animators All About Alliteration". During that time we figured out how to make frozen pants dance. Charlie is now working on his post doctorate studies on laser spectroscopy in Estonia.

Christen

Bridesmaid

Christen and Pam met at Butterhill Daycare where together with their tight-knit group of friends they maintained control of the playground fire truck and were feared by their enemies. Christen is currently working for Penguin publishing doing things I don’t understand and kicking ass.

TBD

Groomsman

Emilie

Bridesmaid

Emilie and Pam grew up across the street from one another. They spent after schools, weekends and summers together and over the years became as close as sisters. Emilie is a barrel racer and has competed at Worlds. She also teaches riding and works at the “barn”. She doesn’t know the meaning of “spare time” but she always makes some for Pam.

Chris

Groomsman

Chris is a relatively new friend to Kevin. They met at the DMV while they both were trying to pass the written portion of their CDL test. They struck up a conversation about the difficulty of the test and Chris made the suggestion to work for Princess. Kevin ended up getting hired at Princess in Denali where he met Pam. Chris and Kevin were housed together when they finished out the rest of the 2018 season in Juneau. Sadly the Princess 2020 season was canceled, but hopefully they will get to work together in Denali again someday.

Diamond

Flower Child

Diamond is light and life. We officially adopted her around Christmas 2020 and she is the sweetest angel in the world. Diamond grew up in Willow, Alaska and competed in the Iditarod three times, finishing the race once. She and Pam met at Chena Hot Springs where she was a favorite of staff and visitors alike. She ruled the yard and Pam’s heart. At 10 years old, Diamond decided it was time to hang up her harness and retire from pulling sleds. She chose Kevin and Pam to be her new servants. She is adjusting well to retirement and her new job as Pam's service dog. Although, most days she is reluctant to get out of bed. Diamond is very sweet and quiet (demure: you might say) so she might be nervous to approach you or be approached by you but she does get snuggly once you get to know her.

Khumba

Flower Child

Khumba is cuddle bear, a trash monster and our little cherub boy. Unfortunately we don’t know much about Khumba’s life prior to us meeting him in 2020. He used to be a sprint racing dog and he still loves to run but his energy can be a lot for other dogs. If he’s not running he’s quite mellow and sweet but put him on line and he’s rearing to go. Since retirement, Khumba left us to go on a couple of adventures but now he's okay settling down with us as long as we provide plenty of sausage and trips to the dog park. He's proving to be a great, if a bit rough, service dog for Kevin. He is also a VIP member of the Buttscratch Club™. Like Diamond, he’s a bit cautious around people who aren’t his family but he adores love and attention.
