Pepacton Reservoir

Pam, her sister, Elise and her father used to wake up at the crack of dawn to head out on the water and try and catch some fish. The reservoir is great for fishing and boating. Just make sure you have the proper permits!

In addition to the hotel, the town of Andes which is actually closer to the lake to the lake than Margaretville is fun to walk around. Check out some shops or just take a walk!

Emerson Kaleidoscope

THE BIGGEST KALEIDOSCOPE IN THE WORLD... we hope. This place is about halfway between Cornwall and the Lake. Every trip requires a stop in to stretch legs and bask in the glow of the largest kaleidoscope on earth! Please ask Elise to sing the song she and Pam used to sing as children to convince their father to stop there. If COVID restrictions allow at the time and everyone feels safe we might attempt to bring a large group to enjoy this activity together.
