FAQs

If you have any other questions other than what we’ve listed here, feel free to reach out to one of us.
Question

WHAT ABOUT COVID RESTRICTIONS?

Answer

We are required to adhere to all State of Washington guidelines for weddings, and we will do our best to keep everyone safe. ALL guests, vaccinated or not, are required to wear a mask except while they are drinking or eating. The brides and officiant can go mask-less during the ceremony however; guests will be placed into groups for the evening, and seated together for both the ceremony and at dinner. Please look for the "find your seat" sign when you arrive.

Question

DO I BRING MY VACCINATION CARD IF I AM VACCINATED?

Answer

Yes! Please take a photo of your proof of vaccination card in case you are asked to provide it at the wedding.

Question

WHAT IF I AM NOT VACCINATED FOR COVID 19?

Answer

If you are not fully vaccinated for Covid 19 you must be tested within 72 hours of the event and test negative. You can find testing at a variety of places we are recommending Walgreens.

Question

WHAT ARE GUESTS' RESPONSIBILITIES WITH REGARD TO COVID?

Answer

Please take your temperature prior to attending, and self screen for any Covid signs or symptoms. If you have a fever over 100.4*F, have any Covid symptoms, or have recently been exposed to Covid, please do not attend. All guests must wear masks, and do their best to maintain social distancing from other groups.

Question

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Answer

Cocktail attire would be appropriate. But we want you to feel comfortable. When deciding what to wear please keep in mind that the venue has soft grass and gravel.

Question

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Answer

JM Cellars will be open to the public for tastings earlier in the day so please do not arrive before 6 pm.

Question

IS THERE A SHUTTLE TO AND FROM THE HOTEL TO THE CEREMONY?

Answer

No, there will not be a shuttle. The Archer Hotel is about a 15 minute drive away from JM Cellars. We recommend carpooling, or getting a Lyft or Uber because parking is limited.

Question

WHERE SHOULD GUESTS PARK? IS PARKING FREE?

Answer

You will not need to pay for parking there will be a free valet service. Once again parking is limited so we recommend share ride services.

Question

ARE KIDS INVITED?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But due to covid protocols our guest list is limited. Only those listed on the invitation may attend.

Question

WHAT WILL WEATHER BE LIKE THIS TIME OF YEAR?

Answer

July is perfect wedding season for Seattle. The weather after 4th of July is usually in the 75-80's range. (We are crossing our fingers!) With that said weather permitting we will be outside for most of the evening. You may want a sweater or light jacket for the later hours as the temperature cools.

Question

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I CAN'T COME?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and or RSVP "NO" so we can plan accordingly. Great news! We were able to livestream the event so be sure to check out at travislawtonproductions.com/sarahandmelissa

Question

DO YOU HAVE A HOTEL BLOCK FOR GUESTS? WHERE DO YOU RECOMMEND I STAY?

Answer

We have a block of rooms reserved at the Archer Hotel Redmond and Seattle Marriott Redmond. Please refer to the Travel and Accommodations tab of website for further details. You may also choose to stay at other Hotels in the area near JM Cellars.

Question

WHEN IS THE RSVP DEADLINE? DO I NEED TO MAIL BACK MY RSVP OR CAN I DO IT ONLINE?

Answer

April 24th 2021. Please RSVP due to covid restrictions so we can plan accordingly. The RSVP tab is in the top headers of the website.

Question

CAN I TAKE AND POST PICTURES ON SOCIAL MEDIA?

Answer

We would like to have an unplugged ceremony so please let our photographer and videographer do what they do best during the ceremony. At the reception however, we encourage guests to take pictures. If you would like to post them on your social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #becomingthebryants so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
