Sarah and Melissa met through the dating app 'Hinge'. They each had a friend who recommended it, and both took a chance. Sarah reached out to Melissa and she replied, beginning a string of messages exchanged. The two quickly discovered how much they had in common and after two weeks of nonstop chatting, they met for a first date. The second date occurred two days later and Melissa asked Sarah to be her girlfriend (can you guess what she said?). Four months passed and the lovebirds moved in together. Six months after that, Sarah executed a carefully orchestrated scavenger hunt for Melissa, leading her to places of significance to the couple. Sarah even found a way to involve some of Melissa's closest friends throughout the hunt to make it even more special. The final stop was at the dock next to the Medina City Hall, which is where Sarah and Melissa first said "I love you" to each other. Sarah proposed to Melissa overlooking Lake Washington with Mt. Rainier in the background. Melissa quickly accepted, then surprised Sarah by proposing right back!
