Question

Are there any other events that I should know about in the future?

Answer

At this time, no. We were planning to hold a reception at a later date, however due to the ever changing nature of the COVID regulations as well as errors in planning with our venue, that date has been cancelled at this time. If we are able to safely gather in the near future, then we will reconsider holding a reception to party the night away with you and will let you know as soon as we do when that is!!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We would like to give the church an idea of how many they can expect at least one week prior to the wedding, so we ask that all RSVPs are filled out by December 12, 2020. If you decide a last minute 'yes!' or have to change to a 'no', we completely understand and you are still welcome to join, or celebrate from home!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We all know that you've been living in your sweatpants since the day quarantine started in March, but we ask that you do not wear them into the church for the wedding ceremony. Dress code is up to you, however we'll be dressed in our best! Masks are required inside the church at all times.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony?

Answer

There is parking along the street on Wellington outside of the church, as well as two lots off of Oakdale that you are able to use. Those are the only areas "reserved" for the church, but there is also free street parking that is usually easy to find all around on Southport, Wellington, Oakdale, and Lincoln.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered! Check out our registry tab across the top bar and that has the links to both of our registries there.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

To ensure that you are able to find parking, socially distance as you enter, and find a seat in the church, we recommend arriving to St. Alphonsus at least 20-15 minutes prior to the start time of the ceremony, so around 3:10 pm. We ask that everyone is seated by 3:25pm so that we are able to start on time at 3:30!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As long as you RSVP for them, they are more than welcome to join in the ceremony! We do ask that any crying children be taken out to the back of the church as the high ceilings create an echo throughout the church.
