We were young teenagers just enjoying a summer day at Valleyfair when everything changed. He ran up to me (yes, literally ran), told me I was the most beautiful girl he’d ever seen, and I knew right then that he was something special. We had no idea that a simple moment would become the start of our forever — growing up together, laughing together, and falling more in love every year.

We took a trip to Montana to visit Glacier National Park. That day, we explored the park together and later went down to the beach to take pictures with my new camera. The sunset was perfect — the mountains behind us and the sky turning all different colors. Someone nearby was playing music, and it all felt unreal. Then Dustan asked the question. I froze, then cried, because I had absolutely no idea it was coming. He even planned for someone to take photos of the whole moment without me knowing. It was simple, it was beautiful, and it was exactly right for us.

We’ve grown up together, and now we get to grow old together. With God at the center of our marriage, we’re excited to keep building a strong foundation for our future. We’re looking forward to creating a home, traveling, having kids one day, and building the life we’ve always talked about. We can’t wait for all the moments ahead — big and small — as we start forever together.
