The Wedding Website of Kira Yoshinaga and Michael Yoshinaga
The main photo for this page is a map of the garden and locations for the ceremony and reception within the garden. The "white" line indicates how to walk from the entrance to the ceremony (location #12) and how to get to the reception location after the ceremony (location #17). Please note, there will be a tram/shuttle service but please be respectful in letting older adults, those with special needs, and difficulty walking take advantage of this service. Walking from the entrance to the ceremony site (#12) can take at least 10 minutes, or longer so please be aware of that in planning to be present for the ceremony by 4pm. You can also find a photo of this map in our "photos" tab so you can save/download it for easy access. You can find answers to most of your questions on this page. Please let us know if you have any questions that are not addressed here. Cheers! xoxo
Question

What is the address of the venue?

Answer

1500 N College Ave, Claremont CA 91711

Question

What do I need to do in regards to COVID-19?

Answer

Great question, thanks for asking! We are asking for each individual to have their COVID-19 vaccine in order to protect themselves and others and keep this gathering as safe as possible. We understand everyone has their own opinions and views on the vaccine altogether, so if there is a problem with obtaining your own vaccine we kindly ask that you provide NEGATIVE COVID-19 test results up to 72hrs before our wedding on November 6th, 2021 in order for you to attend. If you test positive, you are NOT allowed to come under any circumstances. Please email results to theyoshinagas2021@gmail.com if you are electing to take a test rather than get a vaccine.

Question

Do I have to wear a mask?

Answer

Because we are asking for everyone to either be vaccinated and/or have a negative COVID-19 test prior to the wedding - the choice is yours! We totally and completely understand if you feel more comfortable (or not) wearing a mask at our wedding. Please do what you feel most comfortable, and safe, doing! Stay healthy!

Question

Am I invited to the Rehearsal Dinner?

Answer

Sorry, there was a glitch when we set up the website and RSVPs! Unfortunately, only immediate family and bridal party is invited to the rehearsal dinner. Thank you for understanding. If you still aren’t sure if you’re invited, please email us at theyoshinagas2021@gmail.com for further inquiry and information.

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

September 30th, 2021. This gives us enough time to finalize everything!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unless otherwise indicated on your invitation the answer is unfortunately no. We understand at the time of our engagement or sending out invitations you may have gotten in a relationship or would like to bring your current S.O. but we cannot give everyone a plus one with restrictions at our venue. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Can I bring my child?

Answer

We kindly ask that you find childcare for our wedding. We love the kiddos but would like our wedding to be child-free. Thank you for respecting our wishes.

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes, there is a small parking lot. However, we do recommend Uber/Lyft or shuttle if staying in a nearby hotel.

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

Wedding: Garden Party (semi-formal or formal): suits are welcome, as well as jumpsuits, cocktail dresses, sundresses, heels, and flats. Please be aware this venue is entirely outdoors with different floor surfaces including rocks/dirt and grass so I highly recommend against wearing a stiletto heel that could sink in the ground or get caught. For those invited and attending the rehearsal dinner: attire is dressy casual. For men, please wear casual button-downs, polos or nice shirt and slacks/khakis or nice jeans. For women, sundresses/maxi dresses, jumpsuits/rompers, nice blouse and dress pants/skirts or nice jeans.

Question

Who do I contact if I have other questions?

Answer

Please feel free to email us at: theyoshinagas2021@gmail.com. We will get back to you at our earliest convenience!
