COVID-19 Precautions & FAQ's

Additional questions and COVID-19 precautions, see below!
Question

COVID-19

Answer

The health and safety of our guests is our top priority. Therefore, we are taking precautions to prevent and minimize the spread of COVID-19 at our wedding. We will continue to update this page as we receive more guidance. We ask that all of our guests participate in this plan so that we can have a wonderful, healthy, and safe celebration. We are so excited to celebrate with all of you!

Question

Immunizations & Covid Tests

Answer

For the safety of all of attendees and at-risk family members, we ask that all attending wedding guests be fully immunized against COVID-19. We are currently not requiring a covid test prior to the wedding, but we strongly encourage it if you have traveled or have been at a place where social distancing was not possible within the week of the wedding.

Question

Safety Precautions

Answer

For the comfort of our guests, we have designed the wedding to allow for adequate social distancing: The ceremony itself will take place indoors with enough space to social distance. The cocktail hour and reception will take place in a mixed indoor/outdoor setting. Guests may choose to mingle inside, or in the garden. We will serve dinner indoors. There will, however, be more than six feet of space between each table. At this stage, it is likely that we will ask all guests to wear masks while indoors. We are following the spread of COVID-19 in the Montgomery/Houston area, and we will ask all guests to comply with CDC mask guidance as it evolves. We will have masks and hand sanitizer available for all.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We completely understand some of you may not be able to confirm your attendance until closer to the date, particularly those who are traveling. However, we will require your RSVP no later than August 31st in order to confirm numbers with our caterer and venue. You can RSVP online through our website under the "RSVP" tab. You will be able to RSVP for everyone invited in your party.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire: Suit and tie for gentlemen and cocktail dress, suit or jumpsuit for ladies.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! When you RSVP, make sure to note any food allergies/special meal requests.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

Due to COVID, we are unable to extend the invitation to children. Our venue does not have daycare or staff to watch children. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope that you can still join us to celebrate our special day.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There is valet parking provided at the venue.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Ceremony: We will be having an "unplugged ceremony". Cocktail Hour + Reception: Take all the pictures and videos you would like and post on your social media! Remember to use #TheBestIsYanToCome to tag your photos/videos to see all of you!
