The Yans

After connecting on Coffee Meets Bagel, we went on our first date! We had dinner, which then continued to dessert... to a long walk around CityCentre. A perfect date, but, little did Gisela know, her mom had been texting her multiple times with no response. Gisela's mom called in the middle of the date!!! Luckily this did not make Stephen run away, and we had our second date two days after, our third date two days after the next... and a date every two days or so afterwards :)

After Stephen met with Gisela's parents and received their blessings, he started to plan the proposal. Gisela has always loved everything about space, and Stephen loves La La Land. We did a day trip to Brazos Bend State Park with plans of hiking the trails and going to the observatory. Stephen was wearing jeans and a nice shirt (little sus), but Gisela was completely clueless. Unfortunately the observatory was closed for renovations, so Stephen needed to find a new spot! After walking for a while, Stephen found the perfect spot with no people around, right at the golden hour and popped the question! Of course Gisela said yes!! How did we celebrate? By getting boba!! and a nice dinner too :)
