Beginning in January 2025, the United Kingdom now requires all travelers to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA.) The process is simple and fast, but is required. Please follow the link below in order to apply. 

You may choose to fly into Edinburgh Airport (EDI) which is 44 miles from the castle. You may also fly into Glasgow Airport (GLA) which is 53 miles away from the castle.  

If you do not plan to rent a car, please ensure to pre-arrange your travel. Due to the distance of the castle from the airport, it could be difficult to find a taxi without it being scheduled.
