Maid of Honor
Kelley Aleman and Charlotte met as colleagues in 2017. They spend most of the week together either working out, cooking together, or their weekly girls night. Kelley is like the best champagne, delightfully bubbly and effervescent. With a background in high-end retail, Kelley is who the couple turns to for fashion advice and general style. Kelley is now deepening her career in insurance at Riddick Insurance Group in Raleigh. Charlotte couldn’t imagine having anyone else by her side on the big day!
Maid of Honor
Dr. Catherine Neale was a member of Josh’s graduate school cohort. After Josh introduced Cat to Charlotte, the two quickly became inseparable. Girls Night originally began in Cat’s bedroom with snacks, good wine, and great conversations. Recently, Cat moved to pursue her new career as a consultant in D.C., but they still make time for late night phone calls to stay up to date in each other’s lives. Cat is independent, strong willed, and the most driven individual Charlotte knows. Charlotte is honored to have Cat stand with her on the most magical day of her life.
Bridesmaid
Dr. Laura Jane Ferguson is Charlotte and Joshua’s oldest friend from Joshua’s graduate school cohort. A frequent attendee of girls night, Laura Jane is always reminding the girls to eat healthier, bringing snacks like fruits and vegetables. She is commonly known as the group’s brave and fearless leader due to her strong and decisive personality, but she has a goofy and fun side and knows how to let loose. Laura Jane is furthering her career as an Analyst at Modern Hire, the same selection firm where Joshua works. Charlotte is so happy to have such a dear friend stand up with her on her big day.
Bridesmaid
Michelle and Charlotte met when she started doing Joshua’s hair, and quickly became a part of their tight group of friends. She brings all the fun to Sunday girls brunch, is a talented artist, a hard worker, and the happiest person the couple has ever met. She has the kindest soul and knows how to make anyone feel special. Michelle is an Advanced Designer at Samuel Cole Salon, and most of the wedding party can attest to her skill with a pair of shears. Charlotte is blessed to have such a wonderful friend to stand with her.
Bridesmaid
Sara Kathryn and Charlotte have been friends since they were in diapers. Their families were close growing up, sharing holidays, birthdays, and summer vacations together. Since then, Sara Kathryn earned her degree in Civil Engineering at NC State and is thriving in her career at Dewberry in Raleigh. Although they’re older and making different memories now, Charlotte couldn’t imagine getting married without Sara Kathryn.
Bridesmaid
Victoria and Charlotte met in 2019 when she started dating Jesse Farnsworth. Victoria noticed Charlotte’s dress was a Disney Dress Shop dress, and immediately the two clicked over their love of Disney, cats, and wine. Now, Victoria hosts the weekly girls night for Bachelor/ Bachelorette and is always prepared with the best snacks. Victoria is always there to lend an ear, and gives the most responsible advice when the girls need it. Charlotte is so happy to have such a wonderful friend stand up with her for her big day.
Best Man
Cole Andrews is Joshua’s younger brother. Following in his family’s footsteps, he is also attending NC State and is working towards a bachelor’s degree in Economics. When not studying hard at school, you can find Cole playing games online with Josh, practicing his guitar skills, or spending time with family. Joshua is honored to have his brother as his Best Man.
Groomsman
Doctoral Candidate Jesse Farnsworth and Joshua met early in graduate school at NC State. In 2015, they embarked on an additional journey, one that is still ongoing today, learning how to create and defeat beasts in Dungeons and Dragons. Jesse is tough and strong, much like the characters he plays, but inside, he has a heart of gold. You can typically find the two hours after an adventure debating and solving the worlds problems together. While Jesse is completing his dissertation, he is furthering his career as a User Experience Researcher at BB&T. Joshua is so happy to have Jesse stand up with him on the big day.
Groomsman
Dr. Michael Geden met Joshua while in graduate school at NC State. Michael now works in the Data Science team with Josh at Modern Hire. The two have bonded over their love of statistics and research together over the years, and will stay up late into the night discussing how to solve any and all computer science dilemmas. Michael plays a crucial role in the Dungeons and Dragons party, always going off script and keeping Josh on his toes. Joshua is excited to have such a wonderful friend stand by him on his wedding day.
Groomsman
Dr. Federico Scholcover and Joshua met in the beginning of graduate school at NC State. Freddy and Josh bonded quickly over their love of games, Disney, and Harry Potter. Freddy is the light hearted, silly member of the Dungeons and Dragons party that reminds the group to have a little fun. Freddy has recently accepted a post doctoral position at Arizona State University, and spends his free time completing additional research to expand his career in academia. Joshua is excited to have such a wonderful friend stand up with him.

Samuel Caccamo is Charlotte’s younger brother. He recently graduated from Appalachian State with a BS in Sustainable Development and is in search of his new career in his field. Sam and Josh have bonded over their love of guitar, and Josh is thrilled to have another brother he can jam with. Joshua is excited to have his future brother in law stand up with him on his big day.
Groomsman
Michael Trapani is Joshua’s oldest friend. The two grew up together, originally as neighbors, and their families remain very close today. Over the years they have shared holiday dinners, family vacations, and a trip to Disney World. Now in their adult lives, Michael and Josh share a love for tinkering to solve problems, as now Michael is thriving in his career as a mechanical engineer. Michael has always been such a wonderful friend to Josh, and Josh cannot imagine getting married without Michael by his side.
Groomsman
Joseph Cretella and Joshua have been dear friends since they were very young. From sparring on the mat in Tae Kwon Do, through high school and their college years, and even when they didn’t live in the same city, they remained very close. Joey is now living out his passion as an engineer at Protolabs. Joshua is very happy to have such a wonderful old friend stand by him on his wedding day.
Officiant
Savannah is Charlotte’s sister who recently graduated from Austin Theological Seminary this past May. She is the Anna to Charlotte’s Elsa, and is always lighthearted and fun. Savannah has worked incredibly hard through classes, volunteer work, and chaplaincy so that she can guide others in the light of the Lord. Charlotte is very blessed to have someone so special officiate her wedding.
