It all started at Sprint, where Aaliyah and Joseph met as coworkers. Joseph always complimented her hair and brought her Red Bulls. One night, Aaliyah invited him to hang out with friends, and her friend asked, "Why aren’t you two a thing?" Aaliyah laughed it off, but the night was so fun, it got her thinking. More hangouts followed, and one night at Flanigan’s, Joseph gave her a hug and went to kiss her cheek. Surprised, Aaliyah jumped, but it made her realize he liked her.
After spending more time together during COVID, Joseph asked, “I’m not here to play with you, so what are we doing?” Aaliyah said yes, and they’ve been together ever since. Fast forward to Bali, where Joseph proposed with flowers spelling "Will you marry me?" and a candlelit dinner. Aaliyah will always be grateful for Sprint, because it brought them together. Every time she hears Joseph’s voice, she remembers, “I’m not here to play with you.” 💕
