When do I need to RSVP by?

What should I wear?

Answer

We ask that you please dress in semi-formal attire. For women, a cocktail dress at any length is appropriate, along with jumpsuits and pantsuits. For men, they can wear jacket and dress pants/khakis (tie optional).

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Transportation will be provided from Saint John The Evangelist to Scottish Rite Cathedral for your convenience. At the end of the evening, transportation will be provided to the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown hotel.

Do you have a hotel recommendation?

Answer

We've reserved a special room rate at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown for our wedding guests, available until April 11, 2025. If you're traveling from out of town, we highly recommend staying here—it's just a quick 3-minute walk to the church! After the reception ends at 11 pm, we'll provide transportation back to the hotel, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable evening for everyone. Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

The historic Scottish Rite Cathedral has a large parking lot that is accessible off of West North Street. You will need to press the button at the gate to get in. You can also leave your car overnight!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, we can't accommodate additional guests. Your invitation will indicate your guest's name if a plus one has been given to you.

Are kids invited?

If your formal invitation includes your child’s or children’s names, they are of course welcome to join us.

I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What is the best way to let you know?

Please be sure to note all dietary restrictions and/or allergies including the associated guest's name when you RSVP.
